"I had been to this restaurant a few times for a walk with my dog and a drink, but had never tried their Sunday roast until today. It was clear that the roast was very popular, so we decided to give it a go. I was impressed by the excellent roast with beautiful fresh vegetables and I especially enjoyed the sweet cauliflower cheese. The meat was tender and overall it was a great meal. The sticky toffee cheesecake was absolutely delicious and a must-try. The restaurant is dog-friendly and my little chi enjoyed sharing some meat with me. I will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this place."

"I just returned from my third visit to the Drake Manor Inn, and once again it was amazing! We received a very warm welcome from the staff and quickly settled into a cozy corner. We ordered three trios of sausages and mash, along with a mushroom tagliatelle. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious, the sausages were amazing, and the portions were very generous. For dessert, we all enjoyed the chocolate cheesecake with peanut butter ice cream, which was simply wow! I cannot recommend this place enough. My mother and partner are even planning to stay over on a Sunday so they can also enjoy the live music night. Thank you for a wonderful evening, from four very satisfied customers. We will definitely be back soon!"

"Expensive for what it is! Went for sunday lunch and had the meat platter , which is essentially 3 slices of meat with some potatoes and a side salad. Potatoes are listed as crispy they 're not. Pork was dry, and beef looked like it had been sat on the plate for about a week. Partner had the steak and ale pie, was OK, but had clearly been microwaved as the pastry was soggy. Disappointed and won 't be back."

"My wife and I came to the London pub for the first time for a Sunday Carvery and Boy it was awesome 4 veg beautifully done roast potatoes the meat was absolutely fantastic service was good atmosphere was good and at a fair price, we will be coming back soon thank you to the staff of the London pub. "came with view of 2 courses, but with the delay to order once sitting, we ordered a main course. the hew was great, but the chips were so over fried they were stone-resistant oily and inedible. my men were a little better. No one asked if we dessert or more drinks or the bill for half an hour after clearing our teller, so we went to the cash, paid the bill and went. a bit disappointed really for the £60 bill that we paid for a cure and 2 drinks. more of a lunch I think. we are native, but will leave it for a bit, I think before we go back."
