What a lovely lunch. Staff were amazing. Food was fantastic. Extremely clean. Very friendly would happily recommend.

Wonderful little beachfront cafe serving breakfasts. panini, baguettes and burgers. Beats other places in swanage by a mile, the best burger I’ve ever had.

Had a very good time DownTheBeach. Fine coffee, what is important for me as I live in Vienna : , excellent tasty homemade cakes, nice and firendly service. And a fantastic view at the beach.

This became our go to cafe while spending the day on the beach at Swanage. Everything we had was great eg paninis, ice cream, cakes etc. Friendly staff, good selection of food and specials as well. A definite find!

We have been 3 times this summer and had the cooked breakfasts. Delicious. Great value and friendly, accommodating staff. Even if they did laugh at my request for the veggie breakfast with sausages!!! Wonderful location especially after a morning swim.

I haven't been feeling well this summer, so I haven't been able to visit as often as I would have wanted. Despite the slightly chilly wind, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The delicious coffee quickly warmed me up, and I enjoyed a small plate of tastefully presented dishes that I could easily manage. The staff were as kind as always. I highly recommend this place.

Eating at 'Down the Beach' is always a delightful experience. Ashley and his staff provide tasty food at affordable prices with friendly service. The menu is expansive, but standouts include the delicious breakfasts and afternoon teas. Indulge in a warm scone with clotted cream and locally made jam, while enjoying the beautiful view from the deck overlooking the beach. Along with traditional café dishes, you can also purchase ice cream, beach games, buckets and spades, and even rent windbreaks and deck chairs. It's the perfect spot for a beach day outing!
