"We were travelling from London for a night in Weston, and were so disappointed with food choices in Weston Super Mare. And then we came across Ebisu. It’s a small Japanese restaurant hidden away on Regent street. It was Saturday evening and we wanted an early dinner, luckily there was a table for two available for us. Restaurant is small, and tables become hard to come by as most are reserved in advance. Decor is tastily minimalistic, simple and clean, we loved hand painted wallpaper. We ordered Chicken Karaage and Ebisu cauliflower to wake up our taste buds, and Salmon donburi and Crispy potato Katsu for our mains. Many Japanese restaurants make compromises, this one didn’t. Food was superb and authentic, portions were generous, each served fresh slaw of daikon and carrot or salad leaves, each bite you took was superbly flavoursome. We were particularly impressed with Ebisu Cauliflower. We can honestly say that this one is one of best Japanese we have eaten for a long time. If you love Japanese food, this one is for you, do book in advance. We will be back."

The best Japanese food I have ever eaten...Didn't want it to end.. Spectacular!!! The crispy tempura scraps in the spicy tuna salad...Wow!!

Never a bad meal... the fish is fresh, the prices are more than reasonable, and if you're not a fan of sushi, they do have cooked food too! Love this place!

My partner and I go to ebisu every chance we get, the food is exceptional, staff are fantastic and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Their egg fried rice is !! Must try Speisekarte ansehen

Food was fantastic, service a little slow and not particularly attentive, but I think this was due to being mainly focused on a volume of take away orders. Will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing! One of my favourite places to go to. I had a green iced tea and the stir fried noodles (and my friend had the katsu chicken and both the service the food were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place :

We're staying in the area for a week and have generally found the food options in Weston-super-Mare to be pretty uninspiring, but Ebisu is SUCH a hidden gem. Delicious sushi and seaweed salad, excellent sides, and great value for money. You simply have to stop by. Speisekarte ansehen

Friendly service, nice informal dining and superb food. My wife had the king prawn Raman. It was lively and had loads of big tasty prawns, I had the fillet stake teppanyaki which was top notch and again didn’t skimp on the steak. We’re going back tomorrow to try the sushi because that too looked good!

This is a fantastic restaurant that is worth making it a regular stop if you're a fan of Japanese cuisine SETTING The restaurant is small with most of the seating is bench and table made from thick heavy wood that feels high quality. There are partitions between each table, so you have plenty of privacy to talk. The decoration is understated but feels warm and inviting. FOOD The food is excellent and great value for money. We ordered two bento boxes that came with a miso soup. The soup was full of seaweed and tofu and very tasty.
