"El Librero was okay. We did go really early, around 11:30 AM, which meant that they were still serving breakfast and lunch. Most other places were still serving just breakfast which is why we decided to choose this restaurant. There was only one other customer when we went in which was fine. The service was pretty fast and we picked a couple tapas off the menu. We ordered a small section of meats, the spinach and chickpeas, pork cheeks, meatball, and the stew of the day, which was pineapple chicken curry. By far the best thing was the stew of the day. That might have been because it was the only thing that tasted piping hot and right out of the oven. But it was also tasty in general. The other items felt a little bit reheated, especially the Spanish and chickpeas. We did understand as we were probably the first group ordering any of this of the day. The price was also pretty cheap and the service was extremely fast to bring out the dishes, so it made sense. I would still recommend us for a quick and tasty meal, but it’s nothing fancy."

The food was great, I really recommend trying their cheeses (we took the 4 cheese plate, they have more than 60 different cheese types), they were really delicious! I also took a (very special I would say) salad and was also very good. The service is excellent. Nothing to complain!

Amazing tapas! The cheese platter was amazing, we told the waiter to select cheeses for us, we told him our preferences and what he gave us didn’t disappoint. Sangria was great as was the OJ. The waiter explained all the dishes, he was friendly and gave us some really good suggestions.

Best vegetarian option for tapas in Seville. We walked directly inside without reservation. The waiter were very polite and explained us the menu ! ambience was very nice! Although we thought basket of bread should have been free. But we liked portion size and overall A must visit place even for a light lunch :

We had nice experience here. Felt like a place with soul. Food was good, I suggest going for tapas and definitely their own cheese if you’re cheese lover, it was fantastic. Great cava choice by bottle. Service was excellent with very good language skills. Reservation highly suggested, people were queuing to get a table.

Probably the best tapas bar we’ve been to in Spain! The tapas were amazing and delicious and an incredible introduction to Spanish cuisine. The atmosphere was enchanting and authentic, while the service was great (we spoke Italian and surprisingly so did the waiters). Especially recommended are the chickpeas with spinach, the port cheek, and the mixed vegetables.

Loved the paella here, and also the tapas, and highly recommend the pork cheek with rice as well!! So rich and flavourful. The portions are large. The prices are reasonable compared to some other places in the area (they have just increased a tiny bit in the last week). The spinach with chickpeas were also surprisingly one of our favourite dishes. I would certainly revisit on our next trip!

really delicious and reasonably priced food. we ordered a few tapas, a paella, and a cheeseboard and they were all fantastic. with the cheeseboard the waiter went out of his way to choose cheeses that we would like and then explained what each cheese was and in what order we should eat them. all were delicious! the spinach and chickpeas was the best we had in seville. really cool decor very cosy and homely. plenty of vegetarian options too! we had to wait around 10 minutes for a table, but we put down our names and the waiter called us when it was ready.

Huge thanks to the team at El Librero for two excellent meals this week. Highly recommend both the vegetable and mushroom paellas (both are vegan). Excellent flavour, good portion size and very fair price at €14.80pp. We liked that each paella is one person sized, so you don't have to share as at most other places. We also enjoyed several vegan tapas and all were good. It's clearly a busy spot for locals as well as visitors a good sign. Vegan options marked on menu. No non dairy milk but the coffee at Detribu across the street comes highly recommended. Pleasant and helpful service despite being so busy there was a queue for tables out the door. Two vegan fruit options for dessert. Overall hi...

El Librero is quite a popular place! We waited for about 15 20 minutes in the queue, but I'd say that it was worth the wait. We had the following: The 4 cheese board: really nice selection, all of them were delicious. As a cheese lover, I was happy! The seafood paella and the mushroom paella: both of them were bigger than expected! If you're also getting starters, drinks and/or dessert, make sure you have space for all! The boletus one was quite different and nice. The classic seafood one was also tasty. It would be nice to receive some toothpicks to easily devein the shrimp The cheesecake: more dense than we expected and a little bit on the sweet side, but good Overall, a good experience an...
