"Me and my wife came to the Elms for a long awaited date night. I had requested on our booking that we have a menu that doesn't show the calories on it. The day before our booking the manager Paul phoned me to explain that they have run out of the menu's with no calories on but he wil do his be 13st to get one for us. Paul kept to his word and h noe had asked another pub to take photos of their menu and he printed them off for us.This was definitely going the extra mile. The food was hot and the service good. There was a small issue with my wife's burger (she asked for no tomato but it came with it on it) but this was quickly rectified by our server who was polite throughout our meal. We would definitely recommend this place and will be returning in the future."

Nice food though the drink is a bit pricey , staff are good and attentive and the pub has a lovely friendly atmosphere .

I had a nice meal, I had the ultimate mixed grill all meats were very tasty, the steak was nice, but not a main cut meat, but overall everything went a treat. All you can eat is also very nice.

Excellent service of. Dave again. The food was great. Very recommended. If every server in every pub was up to this standard, the British culinary experience would hit the world. Attention, without being overlaid. Five stars.

I have not visited the Elms since the end of 2018 until this week. The staff was very friendly and the decor was nice. The fish and chips were delicious, probably the best I ever had! Will definitely visit again. The order via the app with table number is so much easier to go as well as into the bar.

What a beautiful building they are. Very nice location. Service was great, food arrived in good time and was hot and tasty salad bar is open, but this time (July, 2021) is supported according to the Kovid regulations. Special mention of our waitress Lee, who is amazing and was so friendly and chatting and we had a great conversation. He made our day

My daughter asked me if I would like to have breakfast out, so when we were deciding where to go, we both said Elms, we have had lunch there but not a breakfast. The staff are friendly, they showed us to our table and gave us the menu, they didn't rush us at all, we enjoyed our breakfast and we will be going back very soon. Good food good company what more could you ask for. xx

We were served by Sophie who was absolutely amazing. My husband has a fish allergy and she was so attentive in making sure nothing he ordered could of possibly been in contact with any fish or even been cooked near to it. She could not of done anymore for us. Her manners and service were truly appreciated. The food was fresh, hot and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this place. Thank you Sophie for making our lunch a pleasurable experience.
