beautiful terrace in a pleasant street, close to the super noisy street of nature. bar resto housed in the house engelmann, the interior is chicos. staff are welcoming, available and efficient even at peak times. machiato expressos are delicious. not yet tested the kitchen, but it will come

We walk a lot around the old city and we decide to have a coffee at “Engels”. Good decision as the location was good and very busy. We were waiting for 15’ to find a table. Service little bit slow, but due to the busy time was expected. Good coffee and desserts, but not something very special.

We have been there for lunch twice within a month, while the food and the location is very nice the service is way too slow and a bit scattered specially when you come with children (we were told to go and get the baby chair ourselves... and the restaurant was not even that busy to justify the wait. I was there but I expected to be better, really!The waitress was very friendly, smiling, but overflowed!!We were served quickly, but there charcuterie board was not really top...jambon cooked and raw ham were delicious, but really average cheeses.The menu child, cream and ham, was not even good at all!

which beautiful and original place that has only the same smile and kindness of waitresses. in a spirit between brewery and passage this unique place to mulhouse is as well indicated to sip a coffee with a good book by hand as to eat small Italian dishes well served.
