All the food is from their own farm. They even bake their own bread! Friendly and helpful staff gave the meal that final enjoyment.

We met family here for Sunday lunch. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Both the beef and pork were tender and the vegetables were particularly good. A great venue for an enjoyable lunch with a lovely atmosphere.

Been visiting this restaurant for many years and each time it’s always very good. Great location, great service, great food and wines and reasonable prices. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and we will return I am sure.

I’m sorry to say that we had a truely disgusting meal last night. The portions are laughably small and extremely expensive. The pork belly was rubbery, cold and not cooked properly, the lamb a fatty cheap cut not good at all. We won’t be...back.

Another fantastic experience at this first class restaurant. The menu is small but executed with perfection. The service is professional and unobtrusive yet relaxed and friendly. Each time we have dined here we have been extremely impressed with the combination of flavours in each dish...and the food presentation is exquisite.

we went for the 40th of my partner and can safely say that we had one of the best meal times we had ever had, the meat was absolutely good I had the bark and he had the blacks and they were both great. we have high standards. when it comes to restaurants and these surpassed expectations. pricy, but every penny worth, and is absolutely for his 50. in the hunters lodge return.

my crispy oysters were beautiful, pork bell perfectly boiled with magnificent aromas and the apple crispy soufflé was raised. young, wonderfully helpful staff who were knowledgeable and attentive; the young waiter, who went too much effort, returned to us all about the local cheese even to apologize, he had a wrong. what a fantastic concept with so tasteful meat and exceptional provenance. all our tables enjoyed every aspect of our experience well done!
