too expensive for what it is. I had a spaghetti that was good, but not worth thirty something euro for the food environment that it is.

Can’t beat the lunch outside on a sunny day. Street is closed (UK embassy) so you have the quietest terrasse in the neighbourhood Great Vongole pasta.

not that i had a ton of italian in paris in all my visits, but this is a standout. small, comfortable place on a small street. but the food was delightful. i see someone here already mentioned the milanese and that is what balled me...over! so fresh, simple yet incredible, and lovely. i went back twice that last week.

We found this lovely restaurant while walking the city and returning from Champs Elysee. It´s located close to Place de la Condorde and Rue St. Honore. It has outside seating, which was full on the time of our visit, and inside part. We had starter...to share and main course pasta and risoto . We didn´t order their desserts but there were two older men seated next to us and one of them had tiramisu. Honestly it had to be very very tasty as I haven´t seen anyone to eat so quickly anytime before. For me big bonus was delicious cappucino....you may say ok it should be expected in Italian restaurant. But trust me it´s not easy to get tasty, fair cappucino with a perfect milky foam in Paris.

We stopped by this little gem down the street from our hotel for a “late” dinner. Luckily they were able to seat us outside, since we didn’t have reservations after 9pm on a Thurs night. By the way, reservations are recommended. It’s not exactly a...casual restaurant, since everyone was dressed nicely. Food was excellent. I had ravioli in a cream sauce, and my wife had linguine in clam sauce vongole . Both were excellent. Highlight was the crepe suzette flambé, which was memorable. Getting to the restaurant is very easy....while we stumbled upon this restaurant since it was near our hotel, it’s also 2 blocks down from the Concorde metro stop in a very safe area near the US embassy. Based on the fairly good reviews we decided to book this restaurant. I must admit we have trouble finding places to eat in Paris, so was excited to find this place within walking distance to our hotel. We arrived 10 mins early for our 7.30pm...dinner so we walked in to be confronted by all the staff sitting down having dinner. We were unaware that this placed opened at 7.30pm but found our own way to a table outside. This place was really quiet and only 2 other tables taken. A bit concerned when next door the place was pumping with music, people, laughter etc. We soon realised, once the menu was given to us why!
