"We had a fantastic experience at Fego Supper Club Vegetarian Middle Eastern menu at the Cobham restaurant. It was the first time we had tried a Fego Supper Social and it was the best Middle Eastern food we have ever eaten locally. It was a special night featuring a menu created by the founder of Bubala and a chef who has worked at Bubala and Ottolenghi. There was a massive Salatim Plate with eight different dishes and lovely soft, warm pitta bread. The fried cauliflower with pickled raisins and salsa verde was a stand out. The main course included grilled halloumi, oyster mushroom shish, crispy za'atar potatoes and chopped salad. We were so full that we couldn't manage the chocolate ganache and honey and feta cheesecake for dessert which they kindly packaged up for us to take home. Flavours and textures were superb. Look out for dates at other Fegos and we are looking forward to whatever the next Supper Club Social food theme is."

Non-existent service, uncomfortable chairs and mediocre food. Not in a hurry to come back any time soon!

Great place in. Order of Cobham. No wasted tables as there is no booking. Had mushrooms on toast and it was delicious. Really friendly service (12.5% a bit high for this type of restaurant). Will be back soon

The food was good but… There is a 12.5% service charge automatically added to your bill and then there is the option to tip your waiter/waitress o top of this aswell. The bill just kept increasing and increasing. I thought the service charge was a tip. Apparently not Speisekarte ansehen

Pretty decent spot for brunch/lunch. They don't take reservations so sometimes you have to wait for a while. Indoor outdoor seating. The food is okay, I've had 2 different meals there, and didn't love either, it was mediocre. Good coffee though. Also got a cinnamon roll but it was hard as a rock.. ;

We have had a terrible experience at Cobham Fego. Christian on the front desk is rude and has no idea how to manage customers. After waiting 20 min for a table, he gave it away to a a person friend who had not actually waited in the que. The way he handled us and spoke to us was unacceptable. We supported the store through the whole of covid coming to get pancakes and feel very disappointed.

Stopping for coffee,but staying for brunch Had an Eggs Benedict with a delicious crunch, Served with a chalice of Cappuccino And a love heart crest, drawn not just for show Greeted with a smile as Royal as my cream, And the warmest of welcomes from Henrietta’s team, This award winning cafe is at the top of its game And the good people of Cobham Should long shout its name, What an absolute treat to start any day, Whatever the weather and come what may, Nominated again, but in a class of it’s own, Fego cafe, time for your Coronation throne ….. 10/10 guys …..thank you x Speisekarte ansehen

We stopped here for lunch on our way home yesterday 28/02/24 Two adults and one 13 year old and one 11 year old. The restaurant inside is very eye catching and modern and welcoming . Smartly dressed staff and a truly wonderful menu with some really interesting dishes that were a treat for the mouth Bao buns were the best I have ever had and miso cauliflower was magnificent. Husband was currently on keto and said the mushroom stroganoff was absolutely perfect . We live local to this place and will definitely be paying it another visit . The chef has put on a great menu here . Top marks to the chef!!!

Lovely welcome, all staff friendly and food excellent and delicious. Had the baked eggs in cheese sauce with cauliflower and pesto with sourdough toast. I did send it back to be flashed again under the grill as the eggs were too undercooked for me but there was no fuss made and I specifically asked the waitress to compliment the Chef. It was delicious and filling! My Chai Latte was on the expensive side compared with a good Portuguese cafe I go to but it was a huge glass beaker! My friend had Malted French Toast with fresh fruit which she said was delicious. My only complaint was that it was very noisy at 1130 and the tables are very close together so it certainly isn’t the place the a quiet...

"Obon: a petit Japanese udon restaurant that supplies a sense of Japan that cannot be found anywhere else in the whole of the Uk. (5 stars) Location: Obon is located close to the heart of Kingston but the road it’s on is considerably quieter. You must make sure to have a basic knowledge of Kingston in order to find an area to park and to also make sure you leave yourself enough time, taking the unpredictability of the traffic into acount. Even on a week day there can be traffic jams which can put a halt to your plans and due to the small amount of customers Obon can take its important that you not only book but make sure that you arrive at the agreed booking time. With this being said the staff are all lovely so if you are running late, a quick call is all that is required to just give Obon a chance to understand your position. The food: The array of exquisitely prepared sashimi will be sure to create the sensation that you are in a top Japanese restaurant in japan and the flavour of the fish does not fail to match expectations, which will be very high after just one glance at your meal. The fish is delicately seasoned and practically melts on your tongue, this causes a lovely sensation and is genuinely the finest sushi I have tasted in the uk and even matches a lot of the top restaurants in japan. On top of just the traditional types of sushi, which to many is maki rolls Obon also offers many other delicious options such as soft shell crab and even Unagi don, which I must highly recommend due to it consistently being the highlight of my meal. For those of you that were interested in the quality of the basic Japanese dishes such as miso soup or edamame they do not fail to leave you in grand anticipation for what is to come for they are, simply speaking, incredibly good. The miso, in my opinion, is truly remarkable and creates a lasting feeling of warmth throughout your entire body, on top of that it is far superior to other miso’s that I have tasted in all other areas of the world. Overall the quality of the food is something you would expect from a world famous Michelin star restaurant and if you want Japanese food it’s the only place I can recommend. The Restaurant: The restaurant itself is small but authentic in nature and because it only has a enough tables to host around 20 people at the most, the service is exceptionally good and your food is always out quickly so you will not be left hungry for very long. The staff are kind and friendly. And it’s always an enjoyable experience being waves goodbye as you leave the restaurant. You’re also able to watch as they prepare the food, which for some could be entertaining. There are Japanese photos scattered around the room and this further creates an authentic feel. The atmosphere is not lively but it is a restaurant and not a bar so is an ideal location if you are wanting high quality food. With this being said it is still a great place to go with friends and I consistently am able to have a great time no matter the occasion. Price: Obviously, the price of the food is always an important topic to come to and despite the cost of the sushi being slightly higher than you may expect from a small restaurant in Kingston, I would have to say that for the quality of the food it is ultimately a bargain. For three people, you would be spending around £100 so it isn’t cheap but you can go for cheaper types of food such as udon, which is still amazing quality and won’t set you back as much money. Overall: Obon is still my favourite restaurant in the whole of the Uk and is perfect for a special occasion but it isn’t the sort of place you’d go for a casual night out. The food is beyond incredible and thus they can cater for both children and adults by meeting every bodies needs. For anybody that enjoys sushi, I would urge you to give it a go, you won’t regret it"
