Flunch Boulogne - Speisekarte

Not a good place to eat. Service is not what I'm used to in France, food is just edible. Unfriendly staff

great for a quick cheap meal and has a good choice of meals and there are plenty of them about in the pas de calais

Flunch is always a good experience. Reasonable food at reasonable prices. The staff in this Flunch are switched on to English speakers and know what well done means.

Whilst a little daunting for non French speakers, this offers great choice and value. Based on a large retail park, it's a good alternative to the typical corporate fast food chains

Very surprised how efficient the staff were in serving and continuely replenishing the self service section with really hot food, never seen this before at any flunch I've been to and the tables are ready for the for the next customer. The staff were also very polite and pleasent whilst working at a rate including the manager too.

we always try and eat in a Flunch when we are doing a road trip,you are guaranteed a good selection of veg ect,even better when its Moules Frites night because the french just keep queueing up for unlimited mussels and Chips!!people on the table next to us had a least six buckets of Mussels each! a sight to behold! normally you pick your meat/main meal pay for it and then head to the buffet to add different types of veg,pasta,cous cous,rice sometimes salad and of course Frites!

We popped in at a lunchtime and it was quite busy with many French families. It had a good play area for the children. The service at the grill was friendly and the bavette steak was done perfectly. The choice of hot veg was pretty good and there was a good choice. The desserts were good to and the ile flotant and tarte fraises was tasty too. It's not exceptional but is good family fare at a very reasonable price. But get there before 12 noon otherwise finding a seat is challenging.

This was the first visit to Flunch in the evening and sadly our last. There was very little food left despite it being more than two hours before closingThe choice of appetiser was none existent no salad bar open and whilst the steak was cooked well the only sides on the all you can eat vegetables amounted to very old peas and carrots and beans that were disgusting as they'd been kept warm so longEvery other visit I've made has been for lunch when it's excellent value for money Lesson learned I think

We stopped here after a long drive to Boulogne as it is about the first eatery that you see, next to the shopping centre at the bottom of the hill when you enter Boulogne. There are plenty of these around the north of France, all offering cheep salads or cooked meals. It's worth taking a menu as it becomes even better value then. It's a bit like a buffet version of Mc Donalds but with better service and food. Next time we get off the ferry we will probably stop here for lunch as it is right by the A16 to Paris. Toilets were clean and it is child friendly.
