"my friends and I visited the fox, menston on Sunday to celebrate a special birthday and I could not have been happier with all the experience. the team was very accommodating and allowed us to arrive early to decorate the table and put us before we were due, the drinks were nice and the eating was absolutely delicious. our appetizers came out immediately and looked nice, the main courses were good the money worth, I could not believe the amount of food we received and the dessert was perfect. we were served by the meal of laura, which was absolutely beautiful, she was friendly, patient and in the giggles that was brilliant, she made the experience that was much more special. many thanks to the whole team, but especially to laura, to make the day so unforgettable."

took my husband for his first fathers day and it did not disappoint. Food was outstanding, we had the Chateaubriand and it was cooked to perfection.

Went to book online but decided not to as the website showed availability for the entire evening (they didn’t answer the phone so I couldn’t clarify this). Turned up and was told they were not accepting walk ins (despite tables empty) which was not mentioned on the website. We had car trouble right in front of The Fox restaurant, but thankfully they had a parking lot and were able to accommodate my partner, our 4 children, and me, even though we were over an hour away. Lauren, our server, was excellent. She provided coloring pages for our two youngest children from the children's menu and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be planning a return visit. Please convey our thanks and appreciation to the staff for their attentive service.

On Saturday, June 25th, my companion and I went to this restaurant for lunch. We ordered our drinks and sat down, only to discover dog hair all over the couch. We decided to move to another table, but that chair was cracked and there was dirt hanging on the ceiling. We had to move yet again. It was clear that the restaurant hadn't been properly cleaned since the night before. We decided to just finish our drinks and leave. We ended up having a nice lunch at The White Cross just down the road instead.
