"Ordered eggs Benedict’s on the 27th March, it appeared to be a cooked meal, but after starting our meals, it became evident that the eggs were raw… No apologise given, money refunded or discounted on the meal. Apparently we should have asked for the eggs to be cooked “well done” the eggs weren’t cooked properly to begin with. If ordering meals which contain eggs, please be mindful of the above, check the meal prior to eating it or eat elsewhere as the cost of the meal didn’t justify the meal at all"

"Really nice little cafe i discovered while biking, the park itself is really nice and scenic. I didn't have enough battery to take pictures of the park but i did of my food. The service was a little slow between ordering and getting my food but the staff were friendly and nice and the atmosphere was good. They have seating indoors and outdoors with table service. Prices are a little more expensive than a regular cafe but the food was very great. I got a tuna melt toastie and they also serve alcohol so I got a kopparberg dark fruits. I will be returning!"

"We were looking forward to trying this restaurant after reading fabulous reviews. There was 4 adults and 4 children, aged: 5,3,2 and 8 weeks. All kids were seated, and chatting. Before we'd even managed to order our food, we were asked to keep our children under control as it was going to be a busy night and they didn't want to upset other customers. I explained I couldn't exactly expect my nearly 2 year old to be quiet, but would keep him seated the whole time. This wasn't good enough and I was again told, to keep control of my child. Needless to say, we paid for our drinks and left without having a meal. Had the children been misbehaving I would completely understand, but they hadn't. The 3 year old had used the toilet, with the adult supervision and my 2 year old had dropped the menu on the floor. Nothing I would say is out of the ordinary for children of that age. Very disappointed as we were really looking forward to eating here. I definitely don't recommend it if you've got young children. Although highchairs are provided, they don't seem to like younger children being heard."

"Food gorgeous no complaints and the staff fab. Unfortunately won't b able to call again which is a shame it is supposed to be suitable for disabled but when we arrived my heart sank they have done a slope there in unfortunately it is so steep there was no was I could manage to walk up. Then on the other side there are four steep steps again struggled on managed as I had my friend helping me by Pushing me up from behind but then when we left couldn't come down. The staff young boys were marvellous couldn't do enough for us . If there was only another way it could have been designed. "Went for an early family gathering Christmas Lunch what a great experience!! First of all the carvery was amazing with the meats and roast potatoes cooked to perfection. What truly made the visit was the staff. They were all super friendly and helpful and all worked together so well. If I had a gripe the loo's could use an update but this was a minor thing compared to the overall atmosphere created by this wonderful team. I am sad I live 200 miles away or this would be a regular haunt for me.
