"This was my third visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, it will be my last. The food was cold, so I had to send it back, and my husband's fish and chips were subpar as well—he only received 14 chips! I had made a reservation through the app, but the staff didn’t seem to notice, even though I mentioned it twice to different employees. We were left at a table and had to flag down a passing waitress to take our order. Overall, the service was poor and the food was disappointing. I'm really let down by this experience."

This will be my last visit to this restaurant. The food was cold; I had to send my fish and chips back because they were subpar, and I could only count 14 chips on the plate. Despite booking through the app and mentioning the reservation twice, the staff didn't seem to know about it. We were left sitting at a table for a while and eventually had to ask a passing waitress to take our order. The service was poor, and overall, I was really disappointed with my experience.

"visits Easter Sunday. have the three cursor Sunday afternoon roast dinner, suppe of the day (bäck/tomaten) brownie, which was a great worth (approx. £16 for 3 courses.) eating was delicious, tasteful and nutritious. the best Brat dinner we've ever had, and a good amount of gravy! we had to get the brownies to be gone as we were filled. also some smoothies. the personal was so lovely, friendly and helpful (the smoothie changed to take allergies) the decor was beautiful and we enjoyed trying the cards (Oracle cards etc.) they visit here a lot if we were native updated by previous review on 2022-04-18"

"There are so many reasons to give HomeBaked your custom. The pies are AMAZING and great value. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their business. Most of all, this is a business with a social conscience. They invest big chunks of their profits into helping young people acquire vital life skills that improve their work prospects. They genuinely benefit the local community. If you're going to Anfield, give this place your money rather than other places that are either owned by the club or dropped into the area to only open on match days. HomeBaked is a lesson to all other local food producing businesses."

"Title says it all really. I've been here 3 times for lunch which was nice and after encouraging my meat eating husband to give it a try I was gutted it turned out like this. We do a 5k walk on a Saturday morning and stopped here half way. We waited as, the sign said, to be sat down...in the end I shouted over to one of the girls if it was ok to sit anywhere. We sat down and after about a 10 minute wait ordered coffees. The waitress, without being unkind, was a bit surly but hey ho, most of the tables (but still only 4 tables) were in use so just thought they were a bit busier than usual. Coffee came, ordered poached eggs on toast and a small veggie brekkie (which is £7.80 by the way so not cheap). We then waited...and waited. Others too were sat there wondering where their orders were, you could see people looking over to the counter. No one came over and apologised for the wait or asked us if we wanted anything else to drink. It got to the point when we were going to walk out...literally an hour later...when our breakfast turned up. Husband 2 poached eggs...1 piece of toast. Mine...(and I know it was a small one but remember, it was £7.80) 1 veggie sausage, 2 tiny discs of black pudding...no bigger and not as thick as a 2 quid coin, 1 teaspoon of mushroom, 1 tablespoon of beans, half a slice of toast and a poached egg. It was stone cold. I was going to complain but husband hates fuss so we ate and left. Only after we had paid were we asked if everything was ok. Husband, unusually for him spoke up and said mine was cold. We were offered a take away coffee. He declined. I am really disappointed as i wanted to make this place a regular stop on our walks. The coffee is lovely so that was one plus. Staff could have made this so much easier by apologising to people waiting and offering a refill on the coffees. Not at any time did anyone waiting get approached with an explanation or apology. The small breakfasts are a rip off if that is the regular fare that is served up. It might have been better if it had been hot too. These two orders should take 10-15 mins to serve up. Sorry to say that we won't be going back."

"Quite possibly the worst meal i have ever had to be honest. One of our party ordered a salad which was £8.50 and all it had was brown lettuce and Broccoli in. Child's hotdog came out raw and everyones meal was only luke warm. Also witnessed whilst i was in the bathroom, one of the waitress' come out of one of the cubicles and walk straight back out onto the floor! Without even a thought of washing her hands! Used to always come here many years ago as it had excellent food and would not disappoint. Not quite sure what has happened. If it wasn't for our waiter and his excellent customer service and the atmosphere as a whole then would have walked out. Such a shame."

"Lovely restaurant, lovely decor, kind helpful and friendly staff (credit to restaurant the 2 women working on Monday 20th). The food was amazing! We have had it 1 time before for takeout but it was our first time eating in and it didn’t fail us, it was amazing, quick service, very fresh and so so tasty, just what we needed!! Will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family to go!"
