Lovely modern venue, extensive cocktail list and lovely quick service. We didn’t try the food but would definitely like to next time we visit

We came to Frankie’s for their first steak night and we were blown away! We both ordered the same steak dish, it was cooked perfectly, tender and all around a tasty meal. The steak came with a range of sides which went down well with both of us. There were two members of staff upstairs who kept us well attended to and made us feel very welcome. They seemed interested in our experience and it was lovely to see that they care.

The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly and accommodating. Although there is a time limit for the car park behind the building, there is free street parking available right outside the lodge. I booked a one night stay at the lodge and was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and bright room. The food was delicious, although they only offer a set steak menu (with a vegetarian option) on Wednesdays. Overall, it was a delightful place to visit. Speisekarte ansehen

My daughter and I went to Frankies last night for Steak night which is every Wednesday. We got two steaks and a bottle of wine for £30. The steaks were cooked exactly how we wanted them - medium to rare. They came with mashed potatoes, spinach, and a small jug of peppercorn sauce. The meal was absolutely delicious; the steak was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully on the plate. The chef did a fantastic job. The service from the staff in the bar was also excellent, with everyone serving us with a smile. We will definitely be returning.

My daughter and I booked a table for 'Taco Tuesday ' . We asked to move from where they had seated us as it was in the middle of the room and we prefer to be at the back or side. Not a problem , all very easily sorted. As it was a Tuesday it wasnt that busy , we ordered our food , I had the Taco 's that were amazing- loved them. My daughter had the steak and philly baguette which was also delicious and loads of it. We were served drinks at our table as I have a disability and find it hard to get to the bar. We were served by Devon and Kensi who were lovely. Definitely recommend x

Omg we went here last night to celebrate my daughters new job had prosecco and then the most beautifully cooked rump steak with peppercorn sauce. My husband likes his steak blue and that is exactly how it came. My daughter Portia and I asked for medium rare perfection on a plate. The only suggestion would be a choice of extras as both my daughter and husband dislike tomatoes which it was served with may be a choice of tomatoes or mushrooms? The chef was called Cameron Davies. I spontaneously decided to dine at Frankies this evening and was delighted by the diverse menu. I decided to try the steak rainbow salad and was blown away by how perfect it was. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection, and the portion size was very generous. I also ordered the Mac n cheese, which was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend it. I even asked for the chef's name, Cam, so that I could let him know how much I enjoyed the meal. Kenzie, the young lady working at the bar, was incredibly polite and attentive despite being very busy. She made sure that everyone was taken care of and couldn't do enough for us.

my friends and I visited Frankies last week after multiple recommendations, however we felt let down. considering the restaurant was empty, besides us, the service was quite slow. the cocktails were lovely, although the same cannot be said for the food. the burgers were bland and my friends fish tacos were stone cold. the mexican potatoes as advertised were extremely disappointing, as they were about as mexican as a cup of tea! as if this wasn't disappointing enough, a waiter took my friends plate before the rest of us had finished, which is extremely unprofessional. on a positive, the girl behind the bar was lovely and very apologetic.

Ok so I’ve been going to Frankies since it opened 10 years ago, even had my 30th birthday there, always been amazing service, food the lot. However since their long standing manager Luke has left along with what seems to be the majority of the staff that worked alongside him the place is just not the same. I have been 4 times (out of sheer hope that it would improve each time) since the management and staff have changed. All 4 times I have had to ask staff to come and take drink orders, provide us with the food menus and clear our tables once we had eaten. I went today and for about 20 minutes staff stood talking and chatting away catching up on the weekends events whilst myself and a friend... Speisekarte ansehen
