After a horrendous 7 hour drive, courtesy of storm Babet, our welcome was warm and the food was fresh and hot ‚pub grub’. The staff were so lovely we returned for lunch the next day and then breakfast. Thank you so much the staff and food were so much better than the hotel next door! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4

I have a garlic allergy, which makes dining out a challenge for me. However, the staff here were incredibly friendly; they carefully went through the ingredients and even offered to customize a dish for me. Despite it being a Hungry Horse pub, the staff created a welcoming, local vibe rather than one typical of a chain. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Unfortunately, the Wacky Warehouse, a small but fully equipped soft play area, has apparently closed its doors for good. My child enjoyed a lot of fun in a safe environment that was never overcrowded. The staff were consistently excellent and welcoming. Wouldn't return very understaffed one young man doing orders to eat and also the bar for drinks absolute chaos. Took 15 mins in a queue of 3 people to take my order. However, all 4 of our group wanted good old fish and chips only to be told they had run out. So, back to the table to select a different mea,l went to order again taking the menu just in case and we were now 9th in a row to the one boy on the till. It took us a whole hour to order and receive our replacement meal.

Came here for a birthday meal for a table of 9, the service was disgusting. The older blonde lady who gave us our table was throughout rude and deliberately infront of the young birthday girl which was upsetting. She appeared to be the only one without her name badge showing but the attitude given by her did really make a negative difference to the meal. Unmannered , spoken and pointed at us with other colleagues and just unprofessional. Food and drinks was manageable, small portions for the price. Expected better. Thank you. Speisekarte ansehen
