Dont order the mezie ,,,, unless you got plenty room in your belly lol thougy recommended not one thing we did not like or eat , piping hot , and very tasty , will definitely eat here again 5

Went to this restaurant on strength of greek menu and was not disappointed.The starters were excellent and the beef stifado superb.Gail had swordfish,which is a particular favorite,and it was cooked to perfection.Will be back when next in Scarborough.

We have walked past this restaurant many times over the years when visiting Scarborough, instead of passing by when looking for somewhere for an evening meal we looked at the menu and went in, we ordered the mezze, wow absolutely amazing, lovely meal at a reasonable price, excellent service. We go regularly to this restaurant which is one of the best restaurants in Scarborough for a fillet steak. We all had steaks and everyone devoured everythig on the plates. I have been going here for over twenty years and it is without doubt the best steak restaurant I have ever been in. On some occasions I have had other main courses which have all been good but I cannot say no to their fillet steaks.

Disappointing meal all round. The meatballs to start with were just OK. The mains of mousaka and beef stefado were poor. The mousaka was served warm, not piping hot as you'd expect, hardly contained any meat and overall lacked flavour. The beef in the stefado was dry and chewy and again lacked flavour. This was the second time where the food has been under par and so we won't be back. This is a shame as the food used to be amazing.

My expectations were surpassed by this lovely characterful restaurant in Scarborough I had the Taramasalata starter to share which came with warm pitta bread and I also ordered a nice garlic buttery bread to go with it My main course was the swordfish which came with a nice selection of different vegetables including roast potatoes and some very interesting and tasty cheesy carrots My girlfriend had the beef stifado which was equally lovely with a great rich gravy sauce All in all a very pleasant experience and nice staff I will definitely return when I’m next in Scarborough Speisekarte ansehen

Reminiscent of a 1970s berni inn with a few Greek fishes added. Decor wise, and menu wise we felt like we’d gone back to the 1970s. The food was bland and greek dishes were very inauthentic. But because it felt nostalgic and entertaining we enjoyed our evening even down to seeing “duck a l’orange” flamed on a trolley at a neighbouring table, and finishing off our meal with liqueur coffees. We felt like we were in a time warp. We would have loved a green veg as part of the veg selection, some herbs and seasoning in the moussaka and a Greek salad that wasn’t mostly iceberg lettuce. Finding nice places to eat healthy tasty food in Scarborough does seem to be tricky.

Getting a table for 7 at short notice is never easy, tonight we got lucky. The welcome was warm and we were seated as soon as we introduced ourselves. The ladies who looked after us were friendly and fun as well as very efficient. The wine was served quickly and we were given time to make our menu choices. The starters, mains and desserts were lovely and the portion sizes generous. We all made different choices and enjoyed everything we had. I think we drank them out of Barolo! At the end of our evening we chatted with the two lovely ladies who had looked after us so well. It was such a good evening and a great place for our last night in Scarborough. Me and my husband went for our anniversary. The starters were lovely I had humus and my husband had cod roe . But the main meal well my husband had the lamb and he said it was delicious, the veg was nice but I had the beef and it was was like vinegar, it sucked the moisture out your mouth , I couldn’t eat it . But what got me mad is that the 3 women (2 older n 1 younger stood at the bar looking straight at me , knowing I had a problem with my food but not one of them came over but while we were eating the starters we were asked if everything was ok . When I reluctantly went to pay the lady said “ we noticed you didn’t like ya meal “ but yet she didn’t come over .I didn’t want to make a scene... Speisekarte ansehen
