climbs outside the most touristic streets, typical mantovana tavern with friendly and helpful staff. in this period of covid however the local is not great, tables without excessive distances and some of the staff included the owner with the mask under the nose... sincato. for the rest very nice

we had dinner in this really special restaurant last Friday, it was a spectacular dinner. we were greeted with a wonderful pumpkin velvet and then we tasted some typical dishes from Mantovan. all great, including the bread they produce. the service was super cozy, the girls and the owner extremely friendly! the portions are abundant and the costs absolutely correct. the menu changes every month and offers dishes that can also be eaten by celiac people. Strange-conscious!

Nice little spot with cheery colors, good food and friendly owners on a hidden square in Mantua. We ate here on our first night in Mantua on the recommendation of our hosts and ended up going back on our last night since we enjoyed it so much. The food is fairly traditional Mantuan with a few tweaks which include vegetarian options which were appreciated by my wife who is vegetarian. The owner's wine recommendations were excellent and it was great that the options were all very local.

Easter lunch. we have called for many weeks to have news seen the intolerances of one of the commensali and the answers have always been vague and the fear of not finding something to eat was always more concrete. on the day of lunch, as we had been promised, there was no dedicated menu, and the choice was not at all decent and the kindness of one of the three girls was really ridiculous. at the end, however the lunch went quite well, and the price was fairly fair compared to what had been eaten. I recommend, however, if someone calls you to give certain and precise answers, since those who come to you count on your professionalism!
