our family favorites go to places where fresh tasty home cooked Italian cuisine is served with a smile and friendly warm greeting every time served. book them early to avoid disappointment, but they will always try to express their best to them when they can.

The Italian food at this restaurant is the best we've ever had, and we've tried a lot. We live in Hertfordshire and would drive to Manchester just to eat there again. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of flavor, served by staff who are lively and engaging. I highly recommend the Spaghetti scallops and the cheesecake - even though I'm not usually a fan of cheesecake, theirs was exceptional!

Always busy, great atmosphere. Staff go extra mile. When one of the items needed for a cocktail ran out, they went to a local shop to get some more so my wife could have this particular cocktail with dark rum. Food excellent. I had chicken breast stuffed with crab and with a lobster bisque. Sounded an unusual mix but it worked great. Finished up with Tiramisu. Excellent choice of wines at reasonable prices

We arrived for our evening meal last night 17.11.22. Upon Arrival we were greeted by the owner Mr Giovanni shown to our table. Our waiters for the evening were Kieran Grace, they looked after us all night, we had the Mushroom starter with cheesy garlic bread (this was excellent) we then had different main courses my Husband had traditional Spaghetti Bolognese, i opted for the Pepperonis rocket pizza, we finished our meals with Tiramisu ice cream a Brandy coffee. In-between causes we also had a couple of bottles of Perroni lager. All in all, this restaurant is such a welcome delight in Droylsden and i highly recommend this great little place to eat.

giovannis is a fabulous restaurant with a fabulous menu and delicious food. friendly competent efficient staff who make their visit a great one. I've been coming to this restaurant for years since it was opened many years ago and it's just from power to power. as a zöliakie I fight to eat in many restaurants, as they do not care for my needs. but here they are brilliant and will do up there to please. I was last night for my daughter and future son in late engagement party. there was a big party of us, but eating was served together with no one who sat down waiting and as always it was fabulous. well made them all and thanks for a fabulous night x mx

It has been a while since we last visited this restaurant, but on a whim, we decided to go for a pizza each. However, we ended up opting for a full meal instead. I ordered prawns with smoked salmon as a starter, while my husband had pate - both were delicious. For our main courses, I had fillet steak with dolcelatte sauce and my husband had chicken with asparagus and creamy sauce; both dishes were accompanied by the freshest vegetables. My steak was cooked perfectly. The desserts were also delightful, and we ended the meal with the best espresso I have ever tasted. The staff were friendly and efficient, making it the best dining experience we have had in a while. We definitely won't wait so...
