I took my father out for lunch, and he thoroughly enjoyed every moment, from the incredibly patient staff to the equally fantastic food. The dining area is tastefully decorated, and the garden is a lovely addition. We will definitely be returning!

I visited this restaurant for a couple of nights to celebrate my birthday, and everything was exceptional. I highly recommend it! You truly get what you pay for. Overall, I would rate the rooms, service, and location all at 5 stars, and it definitely has a luxury feel.

Treated ourselves for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the moment we entered the hotel the service was exceptional. We both commented it was the best service we've experienced in the UK. The food was exquisite. 3 courses but with 3 amuse bouche and delicious bread we were very satisfied. You never felt rushed and no one hovered but if your glass was empty it was quietly replenished. The gardens to enjoy before or after your meal were an added bonus. Service: 5

We go to Gravetye 3 or 4 times a year if we can and have been going for many many years over the tenures of several owners. It 's always a complete joy, and the current owner has done a fabulous job of getting the right people in, both inside and out. Tom Coward, the Head Gardener (ex. Dixter) has a vision and a long term plan that make continual visits over an extended period a joy every time we visit we are surprised by the continual changes we learn so much and the garden staff are super helpful and willing to discuss what they 're up to and why.
