"Restaurant in the high city with a nice terrace. My entrance was good but a little fade to my taste; my dish was not cooked enough (blood kidneys inside, that the server has taken over for a cooking supplement) tasty accompaniments; My dessert was delicious. Overall a good meal."

A nice little restaurant, we took two ribs of beef at 4, and there was one for a 5th person. Their cooking was perfect, which was also the case of vegetables that went with it. The waitress is very pleasant and delicious desserts. Redo.

Very very good!!! Genuine cuisine. I would have liked to say simple (for taste)... but the entrance was very worked. Taste is here. The welcome is really nice. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to taste French cuisine and quality products

"We wanted to go walking along Lac du Der, which is a giant reservoir and the largest artificial lake in Europe, so looked for a decent restaurant for lunch nearby and found this Bistro in the Michelin Red Guide. It was a 90 minute drive from where we are staying near Epernay, but it was worth the effort as the restaurant was absolutely perfect. It is tiny, in an old renovated epicerie, and everything is cooked in-house, something that has been getting rarer in France, to the point where the government is trying to force restaurants to show what is inhouse and what is brought in and reheated ... not a bad idea in itself, but sadly they have allowed too many loopholes. It is irrelevant here as the Chef's commitment to his craft is obvious. We took their daily lunch menu for €34, not inexpensive, but worth every euro.A cold soup of chicken, crab and pea to start which, while sounding slightly bizarre, was mouth-watering delicious and a main of slow-cooked oven roasted pork served with puree and green beans was excellent, as was the dessert of diced fresh fruit, custard and brittle. All wonderful fresh ingredients perfectly cooked and presented.A good wine list (including a goodly number of half bottle selections) varied enough for all tastes and budgets. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient and they were very welcoming not only of us but also of our 2 small dogs ... who do have a lot of restaurant experience :-)I cannot believe the review below from the Belgian who went away hungry, as all our courses were more than generous, and we definitely did not leave hungry, and cannot understand how anyone could. However, this place is about how great is the food and I would have still been pleased even with smaller quantities. This bistro is well worth a visit. The food is creative, interesting and a serious cut above nearly every one of the restaurants we have tried in our time in the Marne. I would love to have them move nearer to Bordeaux as we would become serious regulars."
