"We have been to the Harvester on other occasions and on this occasion was left feeling unsatisfied. The menu was rather boring. The salad bar was free but supervised which meant certain selections gave more than just a taster. The hot choices for both diners arrived well before the salad had been finished consequently sitting on the table an unnecessarily long time. I fully understand the covid protocols played some part in the ambience but nevertheless it did affect our experience. At this point in time we are looking at alternatives"

We had a very pleasant experience, our waitress Sally deserves a mention as was very good and made it a lovely experience for our grandchildren.

First time at the Blacksmith Arms and I have to say how enjoyable it was. Great food followed by the excellent service, we will definitely be returning soon.

The staff was great especially Sally quite a laugh and good food. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel special. Thanks to everyone at the forges.

The food was very good and the benefit of the salad bar apart from the health benefit is you are not starving whilst waiting for your main meal. There was no waiting when we arrived. Speisekarte ansehen

The food at this restaurant was very dry and tough. My steak was overcooked, even though I specifically asked for it to be medium rare. It was practically inedible, so I had to send it back. The staff eventually informed me that they would deduct it from my bill, which I definitely expected.

The staff were welcoming and very friendly when we arrived and throughout our stay on a fairly quiet Tuesday night. Meal starter followed by ribs and dirty burgers, kids fish fingers and chips was served hot and fine. The salad bar was nicely stocked and fresh. Overall a bit pricey for a family of 4 although we had a lovely time as first time visitors from the West Midlands.
