"I'm up with friends in the afternoon. the ambiente of the restaurant was lovely, my only difference was how it was cramped. the employees are very attentive and like to deal with any one they have. as for the afternoon it was very well presented with a good chioce of both sandwiches and cakes. the best I had before location and would recommend to everyone. thanks!"

"Lovely evening out with my friend, we had food off the feast menu (tapas style) and it didn’t disappoint. It all tasted so fresh and came out beautifully presented. All servers were really friendly and made sure we were happy with our food and were attentive when it came to drinks too. But the best thing for me was the homemade ice-cream, it was delicious and so creamy.. I had the lemon curd and meringue and it was honestly the best ice cream I have ever tastes. Will definitely be back, even if it’s just to eat that!!"

"Went for a family Sunday lunch to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday so there was 10 of us We booked at short notice as our BBQ plans were scuppered by the awful weather Despite fitting us in we were made to feel welcome and had a very nice table with a window overlooking fields with horses in. The adults all had Sunday roast which was served up quickly was hot and tasty with plenty of side dishes of veg (no extra charge) which is unusual these days! The children had smaller portions or something off the kids menu...nothing was too much trouble. The service was second to none and the drinks were reasonably priced too. We had brought in a special cake for my husband and they brought it to the table whilst we all sang happy birthday it was lovely All in all it was a lovely meal with white tablecloths and roses on the table which made it seem so special Thankyou again d&g for a lovely time spent in your great restaurant We will definitely come back"

"We stay at Market Bosworth regularly and always ensure that we eat at the Olde red lion in the evening. It’s a lovely little pub with friendly staff and friendly locals; you don’t feel intimidated walking through the regulars because they’re all polite anyway. I ordered gammon with a fried egg last night, which was served with chips and peas; I couldn’t finish it at all because the portion was so generous! My husband had a big rump steak (I think it was 12 oz) and again, that was served with chips and peas, as well as mushroom and tomatoes, and he was really impressed. We didn’t manage dessert because we were so full, but once again, we had a lovely meal here, served with a smile, and will of course return when we are back in the area."

"First impression of the restaurant was very good. Unfortunately a few simple things caused me to write this review. All three of us ordered a roast dinner which was served to us whilst we were still looking at the wine list, approximately 5 minutes. That was when a few things were reported to the waitress. 1. No crackling withe roast pork something that is shown as a main ingredient on the menu. 2. Gravy already poured all over the food, this should always be served separately. 3 . The cauliflower cheese was literally a bowl of mush, we reported this to the waitress who just said she would let someone know. The table next to us was served next with a large bowl of beautifully prepared cauliflower florets with cheese sauce. We never had any feedback re our concerns so we just carried on with what we had been served. Desert ordered Trio of Ice cream with home made Shortbread what we we received was three scoops of ice cream in a bowl and no shortbread! Lemon cheesecake was also ordered which we were told was no longer available but then was told they had just got one piece left. Great I thought, what arrived was a very slim slice of cheesecake with 2 minute blobs of cream. On paying the bill I did relay my concerns to a gentleman who I presume was the manager, his response was a quick sorry and then disappeared to speak to the waitress On his return he took my payment and just said sorry once again. Unfortunately what should have been a nice Sunday Lunch turned into a huge disappointment"
