Delicious food, the sausages were amazing! Outside was a nice breeze and lovely. They were a bit busy, so food take a bit longer to arrive but not much of a problem when you are waiting with an astonishing view to the sea! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The dining area is somewhat small, but there are tables available outside. It was definitely worth the wait for our food, as everything was fresh, well-presented, and served hot. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely return to this place when I'm in Ogmore By Sea. Service: Dine-in, Meal type: Brunch.

We had a lovely evening at Hilary and Iain today. The food was amazing. I had chicken breast in apricot and white stilton sauce and Richard had main course calamari. Both meals were cooked well and very tasty. Nico and the other waiter were really attentive too. We will be back very soon. It was lovely meeting Trixie too. Not a good experience unfortunately. Eventually ordered (waiting for the girl on the till to take order) a take away fish and chips. Was told it would take 30 mins. Bit long but we were planning on having a walk around so ok with that. Had a walk around and came back to get the order. Waited to be acknowledged maybe 5 mins. I then had to wait another 20 to 25 mins. When we got to eat the food the chips were nice but the fish was over greasy, with grease being the only real taste. I will not be ever coming back here. If you can't get fish and chips to go right then don't think I'd trust anything more complicated.

We stopped in for lunch while strolling along the beach. It's a bit of a walk from the shore, but definitely worth it! The cheese and ham melt allows you to choose between white or brown bread, and it comes with a side of salad and chips. The sandwich was enormous, generously filled with ham and cheese, and absolutely delicious. We chose to sit inside since it was a bit hot outside. There are outdoor tables available, but the inside was more comfortable. The restaurant accommodates a table for six, two tables for four, and one table for two, so I imagine it could be challenging to find a seat when it's busy. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a great lunch! Speisekarte ansehen
