Hoebridge Cafe And Grill

After a very disappointing round on the 9 hole course it was great to have an excellent light lunch. Pleasant service and good food. Have to mention the cakes as they turned a 4 star into a 5 star review!

a round golf played on a very hot day and decided to have lunch. not enough sunshades for the tables!. service was terrible and had to wait 15 minutes just to order drinks that they delivered to the table alone. not enough personal to busy times.

I'll keep these short and sweet. do not pick up the champ and “crispy” bacon packaging. the speck is not crispy at all in any wise (see picture) and is very salty. was terrible. I was really looking forward to a good round. golf and am bitterly disappointed!

my own and partner visited hoebidge today a relaxing day with golf clubs on the series with dips and drinks before and after golf balls. in the Bar/Retarrant area we asked for service, but the employees talked about us constantly. by using the app to order, but they were standing on our table for age groups to argue the pros n cons of using the app instead of taking our order. what happened to customer service?. no great experience.

It was nice to see more variety of homemade cakes at our most recent visit. I had the carrot cake which was delicious (also huge! and my friend had the lemon drizzle which she also thoroughly enjoyed! The service could be slightly more friendly though...and I couldn’t help but be distracted by a member of staff repeatedly throwing what I can imagine is glass bottles very loudly into a bin. Doesn’t make for a nice atmosphere but all in all a nice visit and look forward to our next coffee cake!!

I meet a group of friends here regularly for lunch. Generally speaking it is fine, nice bright cafe with a good menu and good service. Yesterday I had the three egg omelette with mushrooms and cheese, which came with lovely chunky chips and a side...salad, it was hot and delicious, a good serving. Some friends had soup, which came with rather small rolls. This is a popular cafe with plenty of background noise of people chatting; just recently there is also loud music' playing, frankly just a racket, it's quite unnecessary. Note to the manager we don't need this, we just want to chat to our friends.

Eaten here a few times and always been delighted with the food and the warm greeting offered. I have no idea what has happened! The staff seem to be busy laughing and chatting' among them selves so unfortunately it would appear they are exhausted when...it comes to serving the customers. Dead pan faces no smiles or interjecting with those ordering their meals. One chap just drunk' I assume water from a pint glass and seemed so fazed not sure how he managed to stay upright. Albeit, the food which is not as good as it has been in the past, was mediocre, good value for money. Please make our visits more welcoming smiles are good for the soul.

Been coming here for a couple of years , mainly with my elderly folks who are generally easily pleased. I have been underwhelmed with the fayre up until today . The fish gougons were superb with two homemade dips , salsa and tartare . The...onion rings ok . The Thai fish cake somewhat tasting like a sumami crab stick . The mains wer3 excellent , smoked h@ddock delicious on crushed spuds with spinach a gorgeous orange yolked poached egg on top with a mild mustard sauce . A flatiron steak cooked as requested with good chips , and porchetta with good accompanying veg . Apparently the new menu is overseen by the new head chef Richie . power to his saucepans ....

while we visit the opposite, we decided to try the local golf club. after playing what a scenic curs with admittedly poor to sandy greens due to the cursor care (which was not specified at the time of online booking). After we finished our round, we immediately flew it hot on the bargrill. at the arrival we asked if the kitchen is still open. unfortunately we were told that the kitchen was just closed. it was 19:55 clock. there were obviously still food orders with other workers? When we asked the bar to order our beer, we were told that it was only table service. So we went and sat outside. when no one wanted to serve us, we approached the bar again to ask who would serve us only to say tha...
