Another great pub. No meals no under 21s. Sandwiches available at the bar(cheap). Staff friendly, some great beers. Well priced.

The meals for our group of 5 were exceptionally good, the service attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. A very enjoyable visit and all of us are keen to repeat our pleasurable experience soon,

It might be me getting older but I was expecting a decent meal in what was my local for many years. The beer was far too cold killing the overall flavour and was served too frothy and the glass soaking wet. Not a good start....

Absolutely lovely lunch this afternoon. Service was very quick, good was delicious (I can particularly recommend the battered chicken strips with chilli mayonnaise [pictured half eaten], which was exceptionally succulent and juicy)

After looking for a new home and walking our dogs in Lichfield, my wife and I stopped by for lunch at this restaurant. We decided to eat in the bar area, which was very clean and had lovely wallpaper. We loved the atmosphere and our dogs were welcomed with open arms. The food was delicious and the staff were excellent. We definitely found a hidden gem here. Thank you!

We had a lovely meal here on a Friday evening. We chose the fishcakes off the special board, which came with new potatoes and salad. The fishcakes were delicious. We had ice cream for dessert, there were lots of lovely puddings to chose from. The service was very good, staff very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely meal, the decor in the restaurant was lovely and they have a nice separate bar area. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

It was great to see this pub had reopened as I used to go there years ago so was really excited to visit the Horse and Jockey. Unfortunately the excitement soon vanished once we arrived. It’s such a shame that the staff have no idea about hospitality and making customers feel welcome. I was asked for the name of the booking and pointed to a table. After 5 minutes I got up and went to the bar to order some drinks as it was obvious nobody was going to come and ask. To be fair, the food was really nice so well done chef, unfortunately your front of house staff let you down.
