We ate very well. very kind and helpful waiters. we ate a meat appetizer and cut with lard, salmon and lamb. dishes cooked really well. the kitchen offers mainly Tuscan dishes. recommended trattoria.

A beautiful cosy little restaurant with superb Italian food. Delightful service and plenty of gluten free options, as good as the main menu. The service was delightful, the food excellent and the lighting and decor was warm and classy. Highly recommend this place for both coeliacs and non coeliacs.

in the historic center of florence, but outside the purely tourist roads the desco is an intimate and somewhat hidden place. The environment is refined and elegant equipment. the service is fast, professional and kind. a wide menu of typical Tuscan dishes with different choices all inviting and a menu specially designed for gluten intolerant people. The quality of the raw material is excellent, the abundant portions. all exquisite in particular first and sweets and to appreciate the wide choice gluten free with quality products. Very good value for money.

Hostaria il Desco was recommended to us by our hotel, the Davanzati. We liked it so much we went there three times in five days. The food was very good, we enjoyed the wines, and the customer service was excellent. Don't be afraid to go there if you don't speak Italian the staff all speak English, and they were very friendly. I loved how each table has balsamic vinegar and olive oil waiting for you when you sit down. You can enjoy the warm fresh bread while you decide what to eat. The atmosphere, the cozy size, and the warm brick walls made it a real Italian experience for these tourists from Canada.
