"if they are a meat lover and are looking for a beautiful environment for an elegant meal, al grill is their place. online booking was easy. at the arrival the staff welcomed us quickly. I loved the outside seats because it was in a small street with little traffic. many people have also decided to eat indoors. our server, nada, was beautiful. the way she explains the menu was almost poetic! our steak was on the square and the truffle sauce was heavenly. when the night went on, the relaxed ambiente continues to grow. it was one of the best meals we had in venice and what a nice way to close our vacation. juli 2022"

"Went there on Valentine's days and it's some of the best food we've had. The photos below don't even do any justice. We stumbled upon this by chance on the internet and took a chance. Definitely worth it! The Lombatello Di Manzo (tagliata) was divine, perfectly salted and cooked to perfection as a Medium Rare Steak. One of the best around The pulled pork burger was succulent and delicious. The desserts are home made, we had the tiramisu and the Pannacotta with chocolate sauce. Both were exquisite. I would recommend this 100%. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality! Definitely don't miss it!"

"Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante casualmente in uno dei nostri tanti giri per Venezia, zona centrale ma non trafficata, molto tranquilla. Il locale molto carino con dei tavoli anche all'esterno, posto pulito. I prezzi sinceramente ci hanno stupiti e anche se non avevamo la benché minima intenzione di pranzare, dopo l'invito gentile da parte di uno dei proprietari (non lo sapevamo all'inizio) siamo stati incuriositi e abbiamo deciso di fermarci. La gentilezza e la disponibilità non si è smentita, servizio veloce, e il menù fisso a prezzo regalato (a Venezia non me lo aspettavo) sia di mare che di terra era veramente all'altezza. I primi erano molto buoni e i secondi superavano ogni aspettativa. La scaloppina al vino era tenera e buonissima, la frittura di calamari era super!!! Per contorno c'era l'insalata freschissima. I piatti erano abbondanti. Nuova gestione e i proprietari sono dei ragazzi straordinari. Sicuramente tappa fissa ogni volta che saremo in zona. Assolutamente da provare!!!"

"Wished we can like it more. Found Le Bistrot de Venise via Michelin Guide. If you like a older school style restaurant, and to be seated in these different small dining rooms, the clientele the night we were there was very mixed tourists: a loud table of 8 of Brit family, a couple that drank coke for dinner, and 3 Asian friends. To the restaurant's defense, service was attentive and Venice is a touristy town but i still can't get pass the ambience being like that. Overall comment is that the dishes seemed dated. The amuse boche was a piece of smoked fish that seemed to be missing something. My main was the steamed eel $35) which was the highlight of the meal, amazing dish, fresh, cooked really well, the skin had a great texture and very flavorful. The other dish duck) was a bit tough, a bit over cooked to my taste, a bit dated. Beef tongue was another average dish, served warm. Somm was extremely helpful and helped us picked 4 wines to pair with each dishes, reasonably priced by the glass program was a nice perk to try different local grapes. Overall, service was good, they are here aim to please, but a very old school and touristy restaurant off the main area. Just not to my personal taste. I much preferred Ai Mercanti night and day if you ask me)"

"terrace danieli I think is absolutely the best place of venice to admire, at sunset, the panorama of the Serenissima! We had dinner in the wonderful terrace on the occasion of the parade event of sweet gabbana and..what to say: really everything perfect! we opted for the ground water degotation menu with matching wines. . excellent choice, alternating of land and sea dishes we loved. a plauso goes to all the staff of waiters present, all very attentive and courteous. .a heartfelt thanks for the pashmina in cachmere that was kindly laid on my shoulders to protect me from the cool evening breeze. really very kind attention. After dinner on the terrace we move to the bar of the danieli where we entertained for a pleasant conversation and a cocktail with domenico Dolce. Truly an evening to frame for the perfection and elegance of the place!"
