"Despite being in an area a little anonymous, the room is cozy and well furnished with a pleasant fireplace/braciere exposed. good service in the careful presentation of the dishes and in the tips for wine. we took some menus based on the local specialty, onion, all dishes were cured in the presentation and really great for quantity, quality and combinations. I didn't get the tozzetti with passito sagrantino, but it's my personal goto. However, it seemed that the staff was insufficient, in particular it was really long waiting, standing at the restaurant's bar (empty) to pay, over minutes."

"Ho avuto il piacere di cenare al Ristorante Pizzeria Il Girasole a Castelnuovo di Assisi e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata davvero piacevole. Ho ordinato una pizza capricciosa con mozzarella di bufala che era semplicemente deliziosa: ingredienti freschi e saporiti, con una mozzarella di bufala che aggiungeva un tocco di cremosità davvero irresistibile. Mio figlio ha optato per una margherita con patatine fritte, un abbinamento che ha trovato perfetto, e devo ammettere che anche questa pizza era ottima. Abbiamo cenato all'aperto, in un'atmosfera rilassata e accogliente, ideale per godersi una serata tranquilla. Il servizio è stato veloce ed efficiente, nonostante il locale fosse abbastanza frequentato. Un altro punto a favore è sicuramente la birra: ben fresca e di qualità, ha accompagnato alla perfezione la nostra cena. In sintesi, Il Girasole è un'ottima scelta per chi cerca una buona pizza in un ambiente piacevole con un servizio attento Sauro e Davide"

"Raramente schiocco le 5 stelle, ma dopo 26 anni dalla prima volta ritrovare la stessa cura nella cucina, allora ci stanno tutte e meritate. Categoricamente ogni anno torno qui con mia moglie ed ogni volta è un piacere scoprire che una parte della cucina si è superata mentre un'altra è rimasta ancorata a dei piatti che hanno fatto la storia di questa piccola perla, che si trova all'interno di uno dei borghi più caratteristici dell'Umbria e dove la cipolla endemica è protagonista di buona parte delle ricette. Un posto non troppo raffinato ma nemmeno troppo informale, dove si possono gustare cibi legati alla tradizione del territorio. I vini sono altamente selezionati e vanno pienamente a soddisfare qualsiasi esigenza ed accoppiamento di portate. Prezzi nella norma e allineati al tipo di cucina e servizio. Consigliato."

"We stayed last night at dinner, me and my partner. we are on holiday here and passing we decided to stop in this place nothing bad. as soon as we arrived we were offered two glasses of prosecco . we took a starter in 2 because we had seen that they were very abundant. I am a very good first and my pig companion in bacon crust with nuts and honey. the top of the top. two bottles of water..30 euros!! nothing for the quality and quantity we ate! as soon as we return on holiday here we will definitely come back from you!"
