Been here a couple of times now and enjoyed take aways on many other occasions. The food has always been excellent.

I am crazy for Indian food. I was hardly able move after our dinner. Wish I could eat here every night. Very scrumptious, amazing food.

Refurbished since my last visit pre-Covid. No longer looking old and pokey. Looks more spacious and brighter than before. Ordered the lamb Jalfrezi which was very tasty....and fiery!! The lamb was meltingly tender. Only one drawback though on the evening....they no longer have chapatis!! .Please bring back chapatis?!?!

Great food. Lovely staff. I ordered a lamb Rogan Josh and was offered a slow cooked lamb shank at a couple of quid more....fantastic. The evening was almost ruined by the professional complainers, why do these prats go out, on the next table. We asked to be moved to another table away from Mr and Mrs I'm so important and we were. Oh wow! We travel across the country, but we keep returning to Indian Ozean. We've introduced so many friends and family to Sam and his team. I can't say enough about the service and food. In the 10 years I've been visiting, I’ve never experienced bad service or a meal. I've tried almost everything on the menu, and as someone who isn't a fan of spicy food, the dishes perfectly suit my taste.

I visited this restaurant about a month ago with some friends, and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the food. I ordered a sweet biryani with raita, and I truly enjoyed its flavor and presentation! If I had any critiques, it would be that the biryani wasn't spicy enough for my taste and that the raita was just plain yogurt and had to be ordered separately. However, I really appreciated that the biryani came with a delicious curry. The portion sizes were also generous. I will definitely recommend this place!

We returned whilst in the area having not been for at least 10 years when we remember it being the best Indian in the surrounding area (nearby villages incl. Cambridge). That judgment still stands and the Indian Ocean is as fantastic as it previously was. Naturally, there’s an updated menu with all the standard curries but there’s a range of house specialities. I had the Goan Green curry which was superb. The chicken dhansak was good also, although a bit light on the lentils. Service was good and the prices reasonable. It was nice to see all of the tables taken on a Saturday evening, which I don’t recall being the case 10 years ago so I’d recommend booking on popular evenings. Would definite... Speisekarte ansehen
