Istanbul surpassed our expectations for my mom's 60th birthday celebration. The food was exquisite, the wine selection impressive, and the service truly exceptional. A memorable experience that made the celebration even more special.

One of the worse Turkish food I had in my life. We were 3 of us and none of us finish the food on our plate specially the salmon. We’ve just been for a birthday meal, 6 of us, we all had different starters and mains, meatballs, falafel, prawns, lamb, halloumi, chicken, all meals were lovely, very tasty ,we all ate every bit and thoroughly enjoyed them! We were treat to birthday cake for the birthday boy and shots for everyone, we’ll definitely be going back as we all loved it!

The service at this restaurant was fantastic, but the taste of the food was very disappointing. It was extremely bland, which was a shame since this style of cuisine is typically full of flavor. The restaurant was only half full, but the noise from everyone seated in the window area made it quite loud. Additionally, the prices were too high for the quality of the food. Overall, the price per person was £40–50, the food received a rating of 2, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 2.

Izaac was a standout at the restaurant. I ordered the mixed grill, but, apart from the lamb chop, the meat was lacking in seasoning. The chilli sauce didn't have any heat, but the tzatziki was enjoyable. The salad consisted of shredded lettuce and a grilled tomato. The menu advertised one skewer of chicken, one of lamb, and one of minced lamb kebab, as well as a lamb chop, but we received three chunks of chicken and lamb, a patty of mince, and one chop. With a diet coke, a cup of tea, one starter, and a dessert shared between two people, the bill came to £80. You be the judge if it's worth the price.

I'm thinking the warning signs were there when we first got seated. Horrible flashing, LED dots emanating from a box on the wall flying around the room. This was followed by the waitresses singing happy birthday to music being blasted from broken speakers. At this point I thought I was part of a film set. The poor waitresses had no idea what to do, I can't imagine their training was extensive. It took just under 1 hour for our food to arrive, I personally ordered falafel. Moist with oil, it crumbled to dust as soon as I put my fork into it. I ordered fries to accompany, these were sticks of potato which obviously behaved like sponges when immersed in oil.
