"Ordered tonight as a wee treat for me and my wife . Very Very disappointed the food was rotten extremely small portions but big prices !!! The onion bhaji tasted as if it had been cooked in very old and dirty oil so ended up in bin wife ordered a garlic nan no garlic in it !containers were only half full hardly any chicken in it wife sauce tasted as if it had been burnt . Will never return to this food outlet !"

Yesterday, my family visited Jeera and we all had a wonderful experience. The food and service were both fantastic. We enjoyed a delicious meal and are looking forward to returning in the future. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Just picked up our takeaway from Jeera's and I can honestly say it was the best I've tasted in a long time. Great, friendly staff, restaurant looked lovely. Food was hot and it was delicious. Great value for money. Will definitely be going again, glad I found the place. Speisekarte ansehen

Given wrong starter then when replaced with correct starter the pakora was stodgy and undercooked. No excuse for poor service as only 1 other table in restaurant.Also nan bread was like a big hard pancake and had the cheek to try and charge us for starter that was sent back.First and last time we'll eat here.

jeez this chap bends over backwards to make your meal enjoyable.I have no idea why it was quiet on our visit can only guess people think it's shut.I don't think I have ever had such great service or felt like my business has been wanted as much as this restaurant and the food is just fantasticwell recommended and will be back

"Stopped in on the way back from Livingston and had a light lunch. This was our 2nd visit and that tells it's own story. Staff are great. The food is tasty, fresh and a wee bit on the unusual side. I had a plate of home made soup and a sandwich. My wife also had soup and some pate. And very nice it all was. A good measure of an establishments quality, in my opinion, is the cleanliness of the toilet facilities. This gets a 5 star rating on that score! We couldn't resist the scones either but as we were choc full after our lunch these were taken home. With the staff kindly providing butter and jam. Pop in if you're passing. You won't be disappointed!"

"This restaurant has the worst service I have ever encountered! We ordered a cola, hot chocolate, soup, and egg mayo sandwich, which are very simple items and should have been quick and easy to make. We were the only customers there when we arrived, but we waited well over an hour for our food. The soup was lukewarm and there was no apology or explanation for the long wait. The service was terrible! As we waited, the restaurant started to get busier and some couples even left due to the long wait and unhelpful staff who couldn't provide information on allergen-friendly options for their baby. Eventually, we received our food, but we were the only ones in the restaurant who had been served after waiting over an hour. When we finished our meal and left, there was still no sign of anyone else's food being served. This was the worst service I've ever experienced, and I would not recommend this place. I suggest trying the cafe in the mill instead, which is excellent and I will definitely go back there in the future."

"Popped in for a little treat and wasn't disappointed. Very friendly people and a lovely welcome. Nice variety in the Menu and everything is made fresh to order. Good selection of home baking too which all looked delicious. We had the home made Lentil soup (you get a choice of serving size, as well of types of soup) which came with lovely brown crusty bread and some salad, and a baked potato with sweet chilli chicken which came with home made coleslaw, crisps and some salad as well. My daughter enjoyed her potato but was expecting the chicken to be warm, like the potato, but it was very tasty anyway. Drinks were a Diet Irn Bru and a Mug of creamy hot chocolate you get a choice of size of drinks too, which is another nice little touch. Prices are very reasonable and there was a constant turnover of people visiting. Nicely decorated inside with plenty of room too. Would go back and also recommend it if you are in the area."
