"an evening in the buon appetito brought me to italien and sat in a beautiful trattoria. the food was authentic and the specials brought a modern twist full of aromas that complement each other so well. fritto misto nice to share, escape with orange kaviar! , pizza margherita so simple and yet authentic tomatensauce and mozzarella and a very good attempt intiramisu. if the eating was not enough, the friendly staff, fast service and attention to the detail would convert each. to finish everything, the owner is so passionate and friendly they feel like they are transformed into “nonna’s” house and leave with a full mag full food, warm and dear xx"

"platz was really busy when we arrived with people who were not booked away, so it is very popular. the staff was friendly and helpful. the table was a bit small and sometimes felt somewhat cramped, especially with overlapping table sets. it was also next to the disabled toilet. (hence the -1 star) eating was really nice and cooked, just as we asked. they also had an extensive wine list with very beautiful weeping. I'd go back if I knew I was sitting somewhere else."

"Really craved japanese food and wasn’t sure it would travel well, I was wrong! I am soo glad we ordered from here tonight, the food came quickly and was reasonably priced and very authentic. I had the yasai hand roll and yasai tofu udon, my husband had a salmon and avocado hand roll, pork tonkotsu ramen and we shared a portion of takoyaki, I can say hands down these were the nicest takoyaki I have tried outside of Japan. Definitely worth a visit/order."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time with my girlfriends for a lunch and cocktail afternoon. We were welcomed by a friendly guy, although I didn't catch his name. We were seated in a beautiful booth with twinkling lights and flowers, creating a perfect girly atmosphere. The restaurant had a modern and classy vibe, which we loved. We were excited to see they had a 2 for 1 cocktail special on the menu, which we took advantage of. The cocktail selection was fantastic, with plenty of options to choose from. The food was delicious and the service was efficient. We ordered through the app and our food came out quickly, so there was no waiting around. Thank you to the staff for a great experience, we are already planning our next visit - this time in the evening so we can enjoy even more cocktails."

"Since we last visited some years ago the Everest has made a real effort with their décor including a new beer garden out front. Lighting inside is decorative and colourful but overall ambience is a little too bright maybe? Our food was very disappointing, we ordered Everest Special Mismas and Mixed Grill Masala as mains. Both were higher priced dishes that were supposed to include prawns but there were none in either dish. The Mismas didn 't look anything like the menu photo but in fairness they do state Photos are for suggestion only: Actual Platters may appear DIFFERENT . The Masala grill was described as medium sauce but our dish was very mild with no trace of chilli heat. The stuffed paratha was undercooked and greasy. Pilau rice and vegetable bhuna side however were both very good. Kingfisher and Cobra are served on draft but both were charged 30p a pint more than the printed menu price it 's gone up was the explanation. Prices overall are fair but I was hoping for authentic tasty food that at least lived up to the menu descriptions."
