for the first time at koku shi and was really surprised by the experience. the food was packed with delicious aromen and the staff was very accommodating!

The vegan bento box, faux duck spring rolls, curry soup, and vegan sushi sets, katsu curry are absolutely incredible. I would eat here every day if I could.

I have so much left over the pandemic to this disappointment. it is cheap, healthy and hearty and looks really fancy, even if delivered! you can say that they put her heart in her food.

a few weeks ago visited with family. large small square (8-9 tables) with good atmosphere. good selection of foods of great quality. ramen was irresistible. very good service. when they are in kirkcaldy and they are a meal, there is a place to dune. highly recommended

I never imagined a sushi place would open in KDY (kirkcaldy), let alone one with a whole host of vegan options. This is seriously the best vegan takeout in Kirkcaldy. The food is always warm and so filling and tasty! I would rate 5 stars if I could, this isn't your usual bland vegan option, it's legit good food and for a great price!

Koku Shi was recommended to me by my friend. I had “ramen” on my bucket list. I thought let's try it here. We were on the way from Edinburgh late evening so I ordered two meals on their website (very easy to do it by the way you can choose the meal, time and pay for it by your card). When we arrived earlier we were asked to sit inside and suggested that we could eat inside. We had a really good meal my ramen was delicious, my husband's hamburger the same. The staff us very friendly there.

Monika, (the owner) is a vegan, and she's very welcoming and chatty. I feel like a valued customer and I've only been in twice so far.... but then I only discovered this place a few weeks ago! When you're used to walking into a restaurant and only having one vegan option available, and then you walk into Koku [censored] and find they have a huge number of vegan options, you can't help thinking you must be dreaming. You're not, even if the food does taste every bit as good as you would dream! Good prices too. I really can't recommend this place enough, nor can I wait to visit again. Only Happy Cow's rules about non-fully vegan restaurants stop this being a five star-star review.
