I came to here for dinner with my colleagues. Everything was good. The waiters are kindly. I have a great experience at La barbera.

Special decoration and very welcoming. Dishes are imaginative. Starters, Ravioli, egg plant, deserts. Good wines. Spaghetti with sardines wasn't to my taste. Recomended .

If you want to taste the best Italian food in Costigliole you must come to La Barbera. Including pasta,pizza,risotto... all the food are delicious and fantastic . The wine here is also good to drink. Put down your phone now and go to La Barbera without hesitation.

Accoglienza perfetta. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Professionalità nel servizio e nell'esposizione dei piatti. Mi ha colpito tantissimo l'accostamento di ingredienti che solitamente nelle nostre tavole non abbiniamo mai. Fantasia ed eccellenza, unita alla tradizione rivisitata, hanno reso un esperienza culinaria unica.

The restaurant is in a castle that has been converted into a school. The food, prepared by chefs learning Italian cuisine was delicious and fresh. We had pasta, veal and dessert.The presentation was chef quality and the service impeccable. The rooms are lovely and wonderfully decorated. Check out the cheese room and ask to see the kitchen. Last Sunday we went with my family to eat in La Barbera. I can say that it the best lunch in my life! Was unbielivable tasty everything: risotto, octopus, codfish In the evening we returned to try pizza from chef, cause we had a lot of amazing feed back.....incredibly ...that pizza was the best that i 've ever eat. Wide choice of wine ! Frendly atmosphere all resource for have amazing evening!

Surprisingly, considering that this restaurant is set inside an impressive castle, there's nothing stuffy or exclusive about it. It offers a small menu, cleverly disguised to look like a big menu, but what they do they do very well. Lamb is often a poor choice in Piedmont, but it was beautifully tender here. The labels don't always tell the full story the zabaione wasn't really a zabaione at all, as another reviewer noted, but it was very good anyway. The pizza on the menu is possibly a commendable nod in the direction of social inclusion however, it's not a place I would order pizza, and looking around I could see that other guests concurred. It is not often that I am taken aback visiting restaurants here in this region.Mostly they serve the same type of food.So our recent visit to La Barbera was a real surprise.We have visited this restaurant several times before and it was always OK with typical Italian dishes and good pizza. This time we were served a variation of food we had never seen.Some examples:Marinated salmon with candied ginger,watermelon in port wine with a little polenta. Egg cooked in the oven with wild mushrooms,sauce made with Grana Padana cheese and truffles.Ripe eggplant with tomato confit and smoked scarmoza cheese sauce.Squid fried with potatoes and dry tomatoes.A series of desserts to follow all to die for.S...
