As usual the kitchen is on top! Very tasty and very well erected dish. The setting is warm and friendly, you feel very well right now as well as the staff who is of a kindness, really very pleasant. The signature recipe of the chef "beef with thyme" is original and incredibly good! I recommend 200 Speisekarte ansehen

we enjoyed a fabulous lunch here during our stay and were very impressed around the restaurant. the service was very friendly and welcoming and they had excellent wines/champagns through the glass menu and of course fantastic food. the highlight had to be...the bark smoked with the flaming thymian. the bark was exceptional and some of the best we ever had. the soße that she accompanied was also richly structured. we'll be back in any case!

We visited for lunch today and had the Menu du Jour which was stunning! I’m not a fan of cheese so asked for the Italian salad without cheese. Before serving the main course the chef came specifically to ask whether my request for no cheese...was due to a lactose intolerance as the main course sauce was made with cream. Individual friendly service that cannot be faulted. We also got to try the wines before committing to a glass/bottle. Thank you guys for a memorable lunch! If we are ever back in Saintes we will be sure to visit

This establishment is a restaurant cum wine bar located somewhere in the back cobbled streets of Saintes. Limited lunch time menu consisting of a 3 course meal. The meal is very tasty and filling. Although the menu is set there is some room for manoeuvre,...we didn’t fancy the gizzards as a starter and the chef was happy to Russell up something different. Staff are very friendly and polite, they obviously have a good knowledge of wines and are happy to recommend a good accompaniment to your meal. All in all a pleasant experience in French dining and we will return here again. Speisekarte ansehen
