La Colombetta - Speisekarte

It had been years since I had been there but I wanted my wife to experience the location, the famous drink, and the food. Two of the three exceeded the expectations but the change in the risotto dish was a disappointment. Still worth a seat in the outdoor patio.

very refined restaurant, undoubtedly, courteous ways, fresh food, quality, lots of fish specialties...... but what prices guys!!!a simple appetizer 45 euro!!!unavailable. ..before ordering ask the prices well because on the menu are not indicated...and that says everything.

Great food, great service, great space. We stayed in Bellagio, but this was by far the best meal we had anywhere at Lake Como. I'm still thinking about the pappardelle with shrimp and probably will be for at least a decade. The actual restaurant is an old church, so the space is very unique and cool. If you aren't planning to spend time in Como, I'd recommend making a quick exception just for La Colombetta. Amazing

This hotel came recommended from the hotel and might have been our best meal in our 10 day trip to Italy. Family run owned by three sisters. Two were in front and one the chef. And very much comes across that way. Impeccable service. Great location. Very nice interior and ambiance. Food was exceptional. All courses. And the beginning and ending surprises were a very nice touch. This is a highly rated restaurant and well deserved.

if they are looking for exquisite eating with the best service they have ever, la colombetta is an absolute must in como for them. it is a family-run restaurant where angelo and his sisters felt so incredibly welcome. very highly recommend the thun fish tars with truffles and the special seafood pasta (self-made pasta naturally)! they were both fabulous and I will honestly dream about the seafood pata for the coming years. I can't wait for another day!

the restaurant the dovecote is my favorite, it is all exquisite and the service is impeccable. I always take the fish raw, it is very fresh, the krystale oysters are exceptional. the place is very nice, elegant. the owners are four brothers, Marianna is the chef, deserve a star, lina, angel, silvana take care of the room. to welcome customers offer excellent bubbles and with the coffee of delicious meringues. They are all kind, Iina is my favorite, very nice, tells me about her travels all over the world. soon dear

La Columbetta was fantastic. From the moment you entered the beautifully appointed restaurant you were greeted by a hostess who turned out to be one of the owners). It is run by 3 Sisters and a Brother. Immediately they poured each of us a glass of Prosecco. They made you feel at home. Tagliatelle with lobster was my favorite. Grilled lamb chops were delicious. Dessert warm chocolate cupcake with vanilla icecream was a happy ending. They offered us lemongello as an aperitif. We returned a second time. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a well decorated restaurant. The service however felt rushed. The menu given to my husband had prices but mine did not. The food was fair . My husband and I split a shrimp appetizer which consisted of 1 shrimp a piece and cost 48 euros. The pasta with lobster , was bland and had little lobster meat. This was 66 euros! My sea bass was over powered by olives and was a very thin serving of fish euros). Our meal cost did include 2 glasses of white wine and totaled 236 euros. If the meal was extraordinary in terms of quality and service , we wouldn’t feel “ ripped off”.Unfortunately our hotel Palace Hotel) recommended this restaurant to us and should reconsider this .

Walk into the restaurant for our reservation at 8:00pm and the restaurant was empty. The lady attempts to sit us in a small table all the way in the back corner. I asked to please sit us in the front in a larger table. She replies “it’s a table for 4 and you are 2”. I asked are you expecting a party of 4 and she looks at me with the face of death and says go ahead and take the table. During the 1.5hrs we were there a few people showed up but still more than 75% of the tables were empty. The same lady with the face of death took our order. Unfortunately she took it down wrong but I decided to just bite me tongue and go with it. The food finally comes and I have to say I can make better pasta...
