We came here for a birthday dinner. We caught appetizer, first and second of fish. The dishes are very good. the staff very helpful, were very kind and the cost was right, indeed, too low for what we ate; It's worth coming here.

eating at the degosteria is always a beautiful experience! the place is very nice and particularly suggestive, especially in the evening with the view on the roof of Santa maria of the square. the dishes are gouty and accurate service. wide choice of wines.

Absolutely delicious primo and secondo. Being a vegetarian and eating fish rarely this was a great find. The spelt spaghetti with subtle veg and tiny bit of fish was perfect. The fried fish and vegetables was like a light tempura and mouth watering. We shared both and the ‘one portion’ was enormous. Complimenti e Grazie.

I went for a dinner date with my girlfriend. One of the manager was really nice and funny with my girlfriend maybe too much. The wine list is poor , the Tartare tasteless and with an over cooked egg on . Caviar is the worst I ever tasted. I have been told by my hotel that this one was a fine dining restaurant but from what I could see he looks much more like an overpriced trattoria. My girlfriend either enjoyed the experience and felt really embarrassed by all this attention. Not recommended staff very unprofessional ,food not great and overpriced. Staff not very knowledgeable about food and wine.

We spent a day and night in Ancona before shipping in for Split. It was the end of a wonderful three week roadtrip through north and east Italy. A wonderful trip that we wanted to end with a nice dinner. The receptionist in our hotel, the Grand Palace, recommended La Degosteria. He had recently eaten there himself and was very enthusiastic about the restaurant. About the quality of the food and the service. So we went and enjoyed a very delicious dinner. The menu offered a good choice of surprising dishes. In combination with a selection of good wines. The quality and friendly service was also excellent. As was the setting of the restaurant.
