We curiously underestimate the appearance of the restaurant with what we find afterwards: exquisite attention and the best food on the island. high quality dishes, uncommon and a whole drop for the palate. Furthermore, the waiters advised us to have all the time, which is to thank. of the dishes that we order we loved the scramble of chalota with sweet clay, very good, and the solomillo with dijón sauce, a show. we will return."

"LUGAR PARA ESTAR EN SAN ANDRES (Visita Obligada) todo es muy relajado, pero el servicio es estupendo realmente muy agradable y lo solucionamos todo en poco tiempo, aunque todos los asientos estaban bien ocupados visita de 15:30 a 16:15. Se ofrecieron pan casero y alioli y realmente dieron en el blanco realmente genial los platos son económicos y están preparados con mucho cariño, nos quedamos encantados lugar único con vistas a la plaza de la iglesia y al mar"

"El Campesino specialises in wood fire grilling. This is actually an asado restaurant. The menu is well thought out, and mainly does meat dishes preceded by very nice Canary style starters. However, one of us had grilled sepia as a seaside main dish. Great meal to remember, and the place is ideal when getting there with your car. Additionally, the regular line bus also stops at the village center just less than a ten-minute walk away. We were told that for the Sunday lunch a table reservation by phone is advised."

"these young had quite good food overall. but they also made some big mistakes. I asked for a hot chocolate and what I got was milk with no more than small spots of chocolate on the head blown. I mixed it with one. espresso to make a latte. but it certainly wasn't what I ordered. we also ordered water and only got a glass for my wife and I. not a big mistake really, just not good customer service. to the happiness was eating solid. I had the fried cheese with a green sauce and some of the local island kartoffeln. both were great. like the brot that brought this out. my wife had some fish she said was also great. I really want to give it to stars because of the service. but because eating was solid, I break on the friendly side."

"We ended up eating here twice during our 1 night stay in San Andreas, first off we popped in after walking most the day for a late lunch. Sitting at the pavement side tables there’s a bit of a view over roof tops out to sea and some parasols to keep off the sun. Service at the table was good and the guy waiting on our table just understood enough English for us to manage to communicate, with the aid of a friendly local too. We both chose the set menu for the day which was veg soup, although mine seemed to have chicken in it, along with bread and then fried chicken breast with potatoes and a small tomato salad. All the items were good and tasty and the chicken was more than plentiful, washed down with a cople of large beers this just fitted the bill for two tired walkers. After our overnight stay at an apartment style hotel in town part of our package included we realised breakfast at this same eatery so we returned next morning, our information was that they opened at 9:30am but this appeared fairly relaxed and we didn’t really get our breakfast until around 10am. Breakfast consisted of water, hot drinks and then fried ham and 2 eggs with bread. On both visits as we were leaving we were handed a number of fresh oranges which we ate later in the day and these were amazing sweet and juicy. Only downside was the toilets weren’t so clean with no locks on the doors or toilet paper but it’s really only a local bar in a fairly small town so expectations in this area are never so great."
