La Forchetta - Speisekarte

Mythical, typical Italian cuisine, all delicious, from pizza to dessert passing through the first and second courses. Prices as great as their dishes.

We came to this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday before heading to Astrology Bingo. I ordered the penne pomodoro, which was enjoyable but a bit expensive at £9.90!

Visiting family in between lockdowns and my sister said to try this place. So glad we did, I’m not usually a fan of pizza but these have changed my mind. Lovely place, staff were great and we left pretty full. Speisekarte ansehen

I booked this restaurant due to all the good reviews it had received and we were not disappointed. The staff were warm and friendly, the food was delicious and was served promptly. Despite being a slow lunch-time on a weekday, the place had a good atmosphere.

La Forchetta is a family-run business with a lovely atmosphere, great food at reasonable prices plus It is DOG FRIENDLY!!!!! The first part of the restaurant is designated for people with dogs and their friends. But I'm sure that, if this area is already booked,...

I've been to La Forchetta several times and I always have a lovely time. The service is really outstanding, professional, friendly and attentive without being OTT. The food is tasty and generous as well as being very reasonably priced, and the wine list is incredibly... Speisekarte ansehen

I was surprised to find out that this restaurant is under new management. It may not feel as cozy as it used to, but it is still worth a visit. The menu and wine list are pretty much the same, although the profiteroles are no longer available, which is a shame. The dessert options are not very exciting without them. The staff is still friendly, though. I suggest giving it a try and trying out the food for yourself.

As we arrived they were playing‘Congratulations’ at ear splitting level, really silly especially with young children present. Not much has changed with the new owners, they still have the boat! Food was ok, prices are higher, a pizza is now relatively expensive compared to other places. Service was friendly enough, the free olives were a nice touch but not enough of them for 4 people…. The Calzone wasn’t as good as before, maybe a slightly different pizza dough, it was a bit soggy. Wouldn’t rush to order that again.

I wanted to leave a review because this restaurant was closed last week when I tried to visit, and I really hope it reopens soon. I have been coming to this place for six years, ever since I moved to the area. I have visited with friends, my partner, and even on my own. My friends and I love this place because it is a down-to-earth, independent Italian restaurant with reasonable prices, which are hard to find these days. The food is fantastic - the pizza, pasta, crunchy Caesar salad, and house red wine are all delicious. I also love the slightly old-school decor. I once hosted a birthday party here on a Friday evening, and the service was exceptional, especially for such a large table. Speisekarte ansehen
