La Forchetta - Speisekarte

Visiting family in between lockdowns and my sister said to try this place. So glad we did, I’m not usually a fan of pizza but these have changed my mind. Lovely place, staff were great and we left pretty full.

Almost like a shanty town on the inside , could do with a bit of life with the help of a paintbrush. Food is bang average no love being put into making the food at all especially with the price of food . Tables , chairs, flooring are all about 100 years old. Customer service was nice . Super Italian food (we had spaghetti carbonara and pizza) . My son said it was the best carbonara he’s had and he’s had quite a few. We were served by Sabah, who was courteous and polite, but also showed he had a sense of humour even in these trying times! Good luck in these challenging times.

As we arrived they were playing‘Congratulations’ at ear splitting level, really silly especially with young children present. Not much has changed with the new owners, they still have the boat! Food was ok, prices are higher, a pizza is now relatively expensive compared to other places. Service was friendly enough, the free olives were a nice touch but not enough of them for 4 people….
