"I went to eat with my family in this restaurant. They welcome us, make us sit on the terrace because they don't have tables inside (we didn't reserve so that's fine, and the terrace is beautiful, with a view of the port), they bring us some welcome olives. The four of us want to eat something light, and that's why we told the waiter that we would start with four salads (note: three ventresca and one goat cheese), and then order something else if we were more hungry. He tells us that it is not possible and that we have to tell him if we want something else why they have to serve a few tables, to expedite the work of the cooks. To make it easier for them, we ordered some sardines in addition to the four salads, without waiting. The sardines are very good, they arrive soon. After a few minutes two belly salads arrive. Believing that the other two were arriving, my father and my brother wait before starting to eat. 15 minutes go by and nothing arrives. I mention it to a waitress. Another 15 minutes pass and we are served another two belly salads. I tell you that what was missing was one belly and one goat cheese. The waiter returns with the cheese and finally the four of us begin to eat. The normal salads, quite expensive but I understand that this also depends on the place. We finished and asked for the bill. The first one they bring includes four belly salads (that is, also the one we hadn't ordered) and one cheese salad, so I tell them about it and they bring us another bill, this time correct. Based on the many positive reviews, I imagine that it will be a good restaurant, but our experience was very bad due to the evident lack of coordination between the waiters and the kitchen. We have been customers of this restaurant for years (the port winery the name change did not do anything good for it. Much worse service, slowness, quality of the dishes worsening (less quality, several very basic dishes and without the minimum added value of the kitchen ... in short... it will probably change again soon or simply close.
