"A tourist Place If you are looking for a small unpretentious place in the heart of a pretty village, you have come to the right place! If you are looking for fine cuisine, good service and authenticity, this is not the place for you. I had dinner there last week and have mixed feelings about the place. The food was pretty ordinary though I had a chicken burger that sounded interesting on paper but did not translate into a pleasant experience. My companion had the Italian Pasta which was also pretty ordinary. Prices are moderate. As mentioned before, the restaurant is very small, just a few tables, some across the narrow street from the restaurant. It is located in the heart of the beautiful village of Fayence. The owners seem to be the sole operators: she serves and he cooks. He also talks... A lot. Both are working hard to give the place the appearance of an authentic rustic-but-genuine small restaurant; it seems too much like an act to me.
