Nice food. I had the duck with cherries which was very nice. My girlfriend had a very nice steak. The staff were very friendly and had good English.

Very friendly staff greeted us. We had an early dinner which was delicious and very reasonable as we had the menu du jour. Eating outside on their terrace was really special.

Three courses each and a bottle of local vino. Stunning location and a great meal off foie gras, cannard cassoulet and creme brule. The waiter was charming. Good value at 65€. Speisekarte ansehen

Had a nice lunch, sitting on the terrace. We ate salads (one with fois gras and one with rocamadour cheese). Both were fresh, tasty and rather generous portions. Staff very friendly.

Stopped in for a drink mid afternoon and decided to come back for dinner. Nice patio area to sit and look at scenery. Food very well cooked and very, very fresh. Staff very friendly and cheerful

After being charged over 9 euros for two coffees , I asked the waitress to check. She was adamant that it was correct despite it only being 2 euros on the menu.She was very rude in her manner and laughed at us with her colleagues when we left - out of pocket.No matter how good the food may have been, I felt humiliated and cross with myself for not challenging it. We have been to this restaurant twice, always in the evening after a busy day. The terrace is ideal and in the shadow as Rocamadour faces East. The menu is a mix of typical South Western France dishes which are not always adapted to hot weather (cassoulet) and large plates containing salads and an assortment of local food. With a glass of rosé, this is ideal. If they had local beers instead of the classic Leffe and 1664, this would be even better. We had different waiters on our visits and both of them were friendly and agreed to change our table.

The two of us decided to have a light lunch after doing the religious pilgrimage tour in the scenic town of Rocamadour. We chose this café because of the attractive terrace and the view. At the start service was non-existent. But we were able to snag a kir and a bottle of water. And later a pichet of Lot rose. We had a slightly overcooked trout with lousy vegetables and a big salad with wilted greens and overcooked duck confit; but it did come with delicious fried potatoes. Each cost as much as the 3 course menu that most customers seemed to be slurping up. Call me paranoid, but I think natives get better treatment here than tourists. But, we were here for the ambiance. C’est la vie.

Myself and my partner strolled in to this bar restaurant after a really lovely time around Rocamoudour. We greater the lady behind the bar with a polite "Boujour" of which she didn't peel herself away from her phone as we walked past to the balcony area with the view. After a few minutes my partner decided to walk up to the bar as there were numbers on the table and we weren't sure if we needed to order the drinks ourselves or if it was table service. When he got to the entrance he was quickly shooed away and spoken to in French. After cleaning several tables she finally came to take our order, at this point we were the only customers.
