"Met my mates for lunch, Larkins always has a solid beer selection, was early but all the staff are friendly and a good laugh, went and sat outside, really quirky seating areas in sheds which is great as it feels private, ordered the club sandwich, was delicious, red pepper mayo was a game changer, my mate was impressed with the beef, the dipping gravy was good and he did a great job not getting it on his top, was the first visit for most of the lads and they said they would all definitely return."

Food was great. The pub is great. Afternoon spoiled only by old man sitting in the no smoking area next to us, smoking openly. Wanted to say something to the woman who cleared the table, but she too was smoking.

Expected better, the cheesy garlic bread was covered in butter (not garlic) which made the whole thing taste nasty. Children’s fish fingers were cheap and nasty. For an independent pub I think it’s lacking the quality. Shame because it used to be nice
