Bistrot de la Place

Wow, I got the best chicken in my life. It was roast chicken, juice/sauce was so tasty. I would strongly recommend eating here! The owner is so cute and sweet.

we stopped for lunch after it was recommended by a betting native. We were not disappointed. I had the beef plate, tender with a delicious sauce. She had chicken, also delicious.

Le Bistro de la Place is located in a lovely small square in Le Marais. Good food which is moderately priced. I was in a hotel nearby and it was always full. The menu was only in French but the waiter (Mr Ryan) came to my rescue.

very good food, attentive waiters, with a nice terrace, at the bistrot of the square is only a block north of the street of rivoli. it faces a place on which 4 or 5 other bistros also seek dinner and offer similar rates. My dinner was tasty, and then some. prices are reasonable and similar to other marsh restaurants.

I stopped here at random just because I was hungry. I ordered from the list of specials of the day: turnip soup, cod and vegetables. everything was very good, fresh and served quickly. the place was very busy with the inhabitants. the servers were friendly and all spoke English. the tables were small and narrow, otherwise no problems. food was good, although it took 45 minutes to be served. waiters expected everyone to speak French fluently and ignored any attempt to speak a few words in French or English. my friend tried to eat a piece of sugar in the next door store (fullly different from what they were offering) and the server shouted to her that she was not allowed. Thank you and goodbye, you would expect more courtesy of a place that bills 80 for 4 people just for a portion. Thankfully, betting isn't just that.

It was a finding for a dinner early after a long walk around the betting. the promotion board tried us and despite a much wider offer, we ended up ordering 3 dishes that proved excellent. for the intakes, camembert in the oven and soup with the scratched onion, for the dishes we both opted for a steak and shallots with fries, and for the dessert we enjoyed the burned cream and the pears pie. everything was delicious, just like the carafe of 'vin of the month.' good service and a very pleasant experience.

We found this place looking for a culinary experience on the terrace after shopping in the marsh. It was a Friday night the first time (we went there twice) so busy enough. tanks that welcomed us said they were full, when we proposed to wait, it was very convenient and served us a bottle of wine while we were waiting on a bench on the square. Before we finished the bottle, we had our table for four. while some of us spoke French, his English was great and he was very charming - turned self-taught while watching American television. most of the outdoor dining options in this neighborhood (and a large part of bets) or overlooking the street with cars, etc., so this atmosphere facing the square...
