we spent a pleasant day in the city except for lunch time. We were all buried on this terrace or if the chef could... we would add tables, not to hear each other, to feel obliged to finish his plate quickly. The boss seemed friendly only with the accusers. So we hurry up and get out of the restaurant and finally feel breathable! the: you have to push the table on the sidewalk so you can get out of the table! What a shame!

The meal was good: cod with the plancha. mussels with frozen fries. 18€ is a scandal. Service is rather medium, we're leaving the customers of passage but the regulars are priority, much more attention for them.When we came to take our order a group of people who were accustomed to have been installed and so we were completely left in plan!!!Prices are expensive for quality and service. not to mention all the people around the bar that scrub you in a unpleasant way! you take an aperitif at 10 or 15€ and have served you a plate of rassies chips. Le Drakkar, autrefois une institution en déclin à Deauville, a réussi un retour spectaculaire pour se hisser à nouveau parmi les cinq meilleurs restaurants de la ville. Dès l'accueil, on est charmé par l'ambiance chaleureuse et élégante de la salle, évoquant un club anglais. La carte propose des plats de qualité, bien exécutés, et le service est assuré par un personnel attentionné et agréable. Que demander de plus ? C'est un endroit idéal pour un dîner en amoureux ou entre amis. Le seul bémol, en haute saison : les deux services du soir sont fixés à 19h30 (un peu trop tôt) et à 21h30 (un peu trop tard). the drakkar is an old institution of old deauvillaise, more than 40 years old! I hadn't put my feet back to the city for 20 years and it was not disappointment when I went there last month to this famous establishment. If, no doubt, the seafood is still worth it, avoid mainly the Norman scalope: you are served a shoe sole (my slice was really fine,) archi-cuite and invaded under a Norman sauce, almost indecent as there were in the plate.
