"We were a party of 10 and visited Le Fonetic, which is located about 1km from the sea front at Nice and in quite a built up residential area. There was an immediate warm welcome and we were offered an outside table. In the UK sitting on the pavement next to a fairly busy road with the back of your chair almost touching a parked car would not generally be appreciated, but in the South of France it was an ideal setting and felt like you were on holiday. The menus are via electronic tablets and is very comprehensive. We went straight for mains and the selection we chose were Ribs, Salmon, burgers and Duck. I had the ribs and they were excellent, generous portion and the tomato & pepper sauce went perfectly. Everyone agreed the food was excellent. For desert it wad a mixture of their version of chocolate fondant and apple tart tartin which we again thoroughly enjoyed. The service throughout the meal was very attentive and helpful. This restaurant had a high trip advisor rating and is fully justified and I would certainly recommend if you are in Nice."

I had eaten many times in the restaurant, and is my favorite, is not far from my place and the cooking is great. Not need to walk down in Nice to have a real Nicoise experience !!! Recomended by #bluriviera !!! Merci !

too good and reasonable price. I took the veal jump with tagliatelle 12 euros. the calf was tender to wish. My friend took the pins of perugines and chorizo. soft coffee drink. 35 euros to 2. professional and friendly staff!

welcome, and the team is doing everything to have a good time. all dishes were very good, well cooked and tasty. selection of small wines but very effective. I recommend the secret dessert that is not on the map... thanks to the team for this good time.

Saw reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a go....oh my goodness! It was definitely worth it! #7 bus from town (buses seem to stop after 8.40 so alternative transport home needed) and easy to find.Food was delicious - frogs legs to share, ribs and steak tartar (was dubious but reviews raved about it....for good reason!) and a lovely bottle of wine. Perfect meal with friendly host - excellent food beautifully presented. Will definitely go back next time we're in Nice.
