"Le Lexique is definitely a hidden gem, the location is not obvious but also not very hard to find. I found out about this place from the book Where Chefs Eat and was really pleased. It is small but has a great atmosphere. I ordered the Cote de Provence rosé to start which was amazing. My husband ordered the chef's menu so he started with the prawns which were crunchy and had an amazing flavor. I started with the foie gras, which didn't disappoint. For my main I ordered the ravioli with asparagus and mushrooms which I can not recommend enough! The sauce it was in was really light but packed with flavor, I still dream of the silky texture and pasta. My husband had the veal for his main which was super flavorful and came with a sauce that I was tempted to lick right off the plate. For dessert I had the flourless chocolate cake which was the perfect way to end the meal. I would absolutely eat here again, it was the best meal we had in Geneva!"

We used to really like this place. Food was excellent, the atmosphere relaxed, the service attentive (although not very professional) and the prices reasonable. However, our two last visits were spoilt by the huge amount of salt the cook used in all the dishes that we ordered, bar the dessert. It was really disappointing. The first time it happened, we thought it was just bad luck. But now, we fear it is the norm.

Ich kannte dieses Restaurant aus einer Referenz und wenn man es einmal versteckt im Grottes-Quartier findet, ist es ein tolles Erlebnis, das man nicht vergessen kann. Ruhig, geräumig und vor allem ein großes kulinarisches Vergnügen. Hervorragende Qualität unter Berücksichtigung der fairen Preise des Restaurants. Man bekommt die Füllung, die der Chefkoch (und Besitzer des Lokals) gerne für ein kleines und aufmerksames Publikum kocht. Eine Adresse zum Empfehlen!

I've eaten here occasionally for lunch, and service has always been on the slow end. There is one lady that manages the restaurant and the bar alone. However the food is decent so I kept coming back.On this last visit, we waited for 30 minutes without even given the opportunity to order a drink. The waitress passed by and when we said we know what we wanted (just plat du jour and sparkling water), she brushed us off saying she needed to take care of other tables first (which had already been served their drinks). So we gave up, got up and left.I won't be coming back here.

This place is astonisihing - even though it is Michelin Star rated, it managed to stay "normal" and makes you feel welcome and down-to-earth. Service is extremly attentive - we had a reservation for a family dinner with a child: when we arrived at athe restaurant there were some toys on the table and the chef cooked a child-firendly meal that was ot even on the menu. Food for the adults is also very good and served in big portions - a feature that one can usually not expect at a Michelin restaurant. I would say it was one of the most plaesant restaurant visits I ever experienced!

Meine Frau und ich haben kürzlich das 2-Sterne-Restaurant Joel Robuchon im Metropole Hotel in Monte Carlo besucht, daher war es einfach, die Qualität des Essens hier zu beurteilen. Die Vorspeise war köstlich. Das Tempura-Gemüse in einer Gazpacho war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet und sehr gut präsentiert. Als Hauptgericht gab es Riesengarnelen in einer leichten Madras-Sauce und Simmentaler Entrecôte vom Rind mit Gemüse der Saison, alles in einem wunderschönen Senfdressing. This was a great and tasty experience!The foie gras was so good, and well presented! The vegetable with the peanuts sauce were good but maybe could be improved as we can't tell what kind of vegetables are inside the pastry.. but still really good.The entrecote was fabulous!!! We walk in with a reservation to a muted welcome from a waitress in a tracksuit. The restaurant is not full the whole time we are there, making us think perhaps a reservation was not required after all. The appetiser is extremely salty and heavy handed with sesame oil. The foie gras is the best experience of the night. The ravioli dish had some surprising touches. The main is smothered in a very unappetitising brown sauce. Had heard of this place before but never had a chance to try until today - went to lunch with a friend during a busy day and it was a great idea!Don't be mislead by the modest undertone decor of the interior of this small establishment. It is a boutique experience where most emphasis is on food. Menu is quite laconic but the selection of entrees and mains is quite outstanding.
