Le Rendez-Vous - Speisekarte

If you love seafood, Le Rendez- vous is a must for any visit to Cannes. Ignore that it's in the tourist zone. You get great seafood, great service and a great price. We always visit when in town.

We were there 4 persons the fish and salads were perfect. The meat plates were not good but the portions were big. Staff is very good. According to its position and view the prices are very good.

Perfect place for seafood lovers. Everything is fresh and the plates are really big, so you will not walk away still hungry ????. I really enjoyed my cod fish. Too bad they only have two tables on the balcony. Looks so romantic. Speisekarte ansehen

We had a fish soup starter, it was disappointing by French standards. Lack of quality fish base and added a curry as a thickener. Main course spaghetti fruit De mer, large portion, mix of seafood, lacks the finesse of an Italian dish. Grilled sardines were well cooked and tasty. Prices in Cannes are expensive. Cost with 1/2 bottle of house red and bottle of water was € 79.80.

We had just been commenting that Cannes was not the place for oysters, we hit Le Rendezvous and did not wait a moment to indulge. Fines de claires and Gillardots delicious, as where the bucols. We then continued with grilled sardines, salmong tartare and a artichoke salad. All fresh, well-presented and delicious. Service was slightly unconcerned, the end-of-the-season fatigue creeping through. Yet we left very satisfied.

Second time in Cannes, and sooo happy to have found this GEM !! The freshest seafood you could hope for, tasty, service was excellent, altough tip is included we gave anice tip to our waiter, who went more then out of his way to give us excellent service. Prices are normal for Cannes , we had an appetizer fried calamari, then two entrees of huge shrimp scampi, drinks a bottle of water and coffee, with tip came to 86 euro. we had a meal here on saturday evening, it was our last evening in Cannes so a special night for us, unfortunately eating here was a little disappointing. Food was okay, wine was okay, but service was lacking for us.. We had had wonderful service everywhere in Cannes apart from here, perhaps our expectations were therefore higher. No bread or nibbles were given at start of the meal either which really surprised me as that is pretty standard for the Cote d'azur or we certainly found that it was during our trip. doubtful we would return when next in Cannes.

We went for Saturday dinner at 9:30pm, and easily found a table . The waiters were rushing around the restaurant to give a quick service and high turnover, it looked like people working in a factory, and they were loud. Our waiter was very sweaty with really very stincky shirt that we could smell every time he got near our table. Not very appetizing in a restaurant!!The food: the appetizers fruit de mer and salade niçoise were ok, but the main course :cod was warm on the surface and still frozen on the inside, not edible, the sea bream was rather small...The dessert was good.The atmosphere was very unpleasant due to general loud noise in this restaurant. There are so many restaurants in Cannes that you take a chance when you choose one. We live in the region, and have visited Cannes often, but this is the first time we tried this restaurant and I can say that we were not disappointed. They offer a nice lunch menu with a wide choice of entrees and main dish. I almost never order the seafood brochette in a restaurant as they usually are very sparce and disappointing. Not in Le Rendez-vous. It was fresh and generous. Definitely a good find. The second visit was for dinner with the family and once again everything ordered was fresh, delicious and filling.
