Le Vezelien - Speisekarte

Wenn mann Durst hat und einen kleinen Snack braucht um in Ruhe das Treiben auf der Hauptstrasse von Vézelay zu beobachten ist hier ein guter Ausgangspunkt.

Arrivé en désespoir, nous avons été bien accueilli bien que tout était réservé. Service très correct. Plats excellents. Service chargé mais efficace. Prix corrects. BRAVO !!!!Perseverez.

La nourriture est très fraiche. Nous y avons mangé une excellente salade à l'ombre en terrasse.L'accueuil est sympathique.Seul point noir, le chocolat avec le café est "oublié", sauf pour les habitués.

Un lieu où se retrouvent les Vézeliens et pas uniquement les touristes où les plats sont simples mais bons. L'omelette est une spécialité. Nous avons été servis rapidement et avec le sourire. Une bonne adresse

Dans cette ville tres touristique nous fûmes agreablement surpris par ce petit bar restaurant. Tres bon accueil, service rapide et efficace, bonne carte pour un dejeuner rapide. Bon rapport qualité prix. A noter service jusque 15h tres appréciable lorsque vous êtes en villégiature.

Le Vezelien is a bar/restaurant and serves food only for lunch. The menu is delicious, plentiful and fresh. It is a charm to sit outside in the main, mostly pedestrian, street of Vezelay, or inside, which is cozy and somewhat eclectically decorated. The service is friendly and fast.

A hot summer day, walking the hill of Vezelay, exploring the abbey, eventually you need to recharge. Le Vezelien turned out to be the ideal spot for it. Whether our group members opted for the 'plat du jour' or ordered a la carte like me, who chose the Steak tartare from Charolais beef (fantastic) - everybody was happy and satisfied. Refreshed we continued exploring, stunned by the amazing price/value relation this bistro offers and pleased about the friendly welcome and attentive service.

Nous avons pris une boisson chaude courant de la matinée,l'ambiance est sympathique le décor authentique,un bref coup d'oeil à la carte et nous voilà séduits,nous décidons donc de faire une visite de Vezelay et de revenir déjeuner dans ce restaurant attirés par la soupe maison qui a tenu toutes ses promesses,la joue de boeuf excellente ainsi que la tarte aux myrtilles.Une cuisine simple avec des produits du terroir pour un prix raisonnable un service efficace et sympathique nous avons passé un agréable moment au Vezlien

We had coffee here a number of times over our 2 week holiday. On the last day we had lunch here and what a surprise it was.We had Croque Madame and absolutely loved it. Others in group had omelets - same opinion.It's surprising as this wee cafe doesn't really look like it offers lunches, or food at all. Small chalkboards are hidden beside the door however and if you want brilliant food at really amazing prices - this is the place. Wish we had eaten here every time we dined out.Small issue with the chairs / tables being on a rickety intersection, but so long as you position yourself appropriately, it's a great place to eat, drink and people watch.
