"Hi, ...deliberately used the dreaded Nice label as this sums up our experience with this relatively new restaurant. Its clean, family friendly and has good service. The speciality is Moules in multiple variations but there are other more traditional options. The servings are adequate and the food is good but just nothing stands out or really makes it above OK . Price is middling although drinks are expensive, alcoholic or non, it doesn 't matter. Its also a big restaurant and popular at lunch and dinner but the big bonus is that it is open all day a real rarity i this part of France so for those who dont want to eat prompt at mid day this is a great! Also easy to find on the route de Tarbes and with plenty of parking. I honestly dont know why I cant put it up to Very Good based on all the good factors about this place other than the food is just unexceptional and on one occasion has been less than that the fish was almost all batter."

Nice fixed menu. Moules and frites. A little slow but service was good and prices reasonable. Children had good fish and chips. Everything was fresh.

Situé en bord de rocade, la terrasse est correctement abritée du bruit du trafic. La salle est vaste et bien agencée. Le service est variable et parfois très moyen mais la cuisine est bonne. A tester

Le 12/08/2017 midi : accueil et serveuse super sympa ! Les moules étaient excellentes et la noix d'entrecôte super bonne ! Gaufre au chocolat légère et crème brûlée comme je les aime ! On a passé un super moment et on s'est régalé ! On reviendra avec grand plaisir !

Quand on vient chez "Léon", ce n'est pas pour de la cuisine 5* mais pour les moules !!!Et je dois dire que à ce niveau, je n'ai jamais été (ni mes amis) déçu par la qualité et la diversité des cocottes proposées...En plus, pouvoir (et devoir !) manger avec ses doigts quel plaisir et quel moment de convivialité en famille ou entre amis.Juste un bémol, le temps d'attente dans une salle pourtant pas pleine et l'addition qui peut vite devenir salée (comme parfois certains plats) si vous prenez entrée / plat / dessert et le vin

We stopped for Lunch, as I remembered that we had an excellent time there 4 years ago, and was amazed with the unbelievable value we received. The Menu had changed and we chose the €10.90 two course Lunch which was either a main dish and a drink or a main dish and a desert. The Mussels which I chose were really 1st class and presented and served as expected. The Lemon Sorbet desert was also just as expected. we tried their Biere Leon which at €4.50 for a 33cl measure, was again top rate. All in all phenomenal value for a nice comfortable, pleasant Lunch. Without doubt Leon was a wise choice and if you are Pau and want an easy good Lunch, try them out.
